જોરદાર કડાકા ભડાકા સાથે પડતા વરસાદ માં દોડતો દોડતો એક ૨૫-૨૬ વર્ષનો જુવાન એસટી બસ સ્ટેન્ડ ના "ઓન્લી ફોર સ્ટાફ" લખેલા રુમ માં પહોંચ્યો. "વરસાદે તો ભારે કરી પણ...! ચાલુ થયો કે અટકવાનું નામ જ નથી લેતો દીનેશ ભાઈ...' રેઇનકોટ નીકાળતા મૃગેશ બોલ્યો. "વરસાદ અટકે કે ના અટકે આપણી બસ ના અટકે તૈયાર થઈ જા હમણાં પૂછપરછ ઓફિસ માંથી ફોન આવશે કે પેસેન્જર આવી ગયા બસ ક્યારે ઉપાડશો ?" સત્તાવન વર્ષ ની ઉંમરે પહોંચેલા દિનેશભાઈ છેલ્લા ત્રીસ એક વર્ષ થી એસટી બસ ના ડ્રાઇવર, ગુજરાત ના મોટા ભાગ ના રૂટ પર બસ ચલાવેલી પણ છેલ્લા દસ વર્ષ થી તો અમદાવાદ ડાંગ ના રૂટ પર બસ ચલાવતા. મૃગેશ એસટી બસ માં કંડક્ટર તરીકે લાગે હજુ છ મહિના થયા હતા. અને એમાં પણ ડાંગ વાળી બસ માં કંડકટર તરીકે લાગે હજુ બે અઠવાડિયા થયા હતા.
