અરે મીરા, બેટા આરતી ક્યા રહી ગઇ ? હવે તો માતાજી ની આરતી પણ શરૂ થઈ જવાની. " વૃદ્ધાશ્રમના ગાર્ડનમાં બેઠેલા વૃદ્ધ કમળા બાએ મીરાને કહ્યું. મીરા એ આરતીની ખાસ સખી હતી.બંને બાળપણથી જ સાથે હતાં. બંને એકબીજાને દરેક કામમાં મદદ કરતાં, કોઈ પણ કામ હોય બંને સાથે મળીને જ કરતાં. સખી કરતાં બંને બહેનો જેવાં જ હતાં. ગમે તેવી પરિસ્થિતિ માં બંને એકબીજાની ઢાલ બની જતાં. "કમળા બા, બસ આવતી જ હશે. થોડી વાર પહેલા જ મારી તેની સાથે વાત થઈ. એણે કહ્યું કે તે પંદર મિનિટમાં આવે છે. ટ્રાફિકમાં ફસાઈ ગઇ છે."મીરા કમળા બા પાસે ઘૂંટણીયે બેસીને સ્મિત કરતાં બોલી.
