LOVE OR LIKE?
There is a huge difference between whom you like and whom you love. Both love and like appear to be same but both of they are totally different things. We use the word “infatuation” for like and is a form of addictive love. It may come and go after sometime like after a dispute or fight you may allow that person to go because you don’t wish to hear or see that person anymore. But on the other hand love is completely opposite, no matter how big the fight is, you can’t leave the person.
It’s easy to like a person but it’s really difficult to love a person. There is no tension related to liking a person but when it comes to love it needs a lot of care and patience because the journey of love always covers a long way and faces numerous ups and downs. Both of you need to be together if you love each other because the unbreakable bonding of your relationship is so strong that it does not allow you to move away. Love has its origin from eyes and heart but liking starts after numerous conversations and meetings. Love will make you crazy to look at the person you love and the person you love and admire, you will think of that person each and every minute. Liking has boundaries after some extent but love has no boundaries, it is limitless and for loving a person, sky is the only limit.
If you love someone you are definitely going to share each and everything with them, but if you like anyone you won’t feel like sharing everything with them. If you tend to look in the eyes of the person you love, naturally you start blushing. Just the reflex action makes you do it and it unknowingly feels really cute. Likeness is when you just know the good side of that person and that makes you like them. Love comes internally. You will tend to love a person even if you seen their worst position and still supported them in their twists and turns.
Just like take the case of your family, you have seen them during ups and downs and have supported them too and so we love our family and we never say “I like my family” we proudly say “I love my family”. Love is when we are connected to a person in some deep way; each and every action of his affects us in some deep way. You just can’t stay detached from them even for a short period of time. However like is just a state when you feel comfortable in one’s company. We like to be around them and enjoy with them. Liking is often superficial but love sees nothing and just simple trails of deep emotions.
The tenure of liking is just for a short period of time. It can’t leave an imprint on someone for a lifetime in the same flow. But if you love someone, it is forever. It might look a bit filmy but love is the truest thing on earth.
Most men and women who are new birds in the area of relationship are often hesitant to say “I love you” and rather turn down to saying “I like you”. This saves them from acting fake and from great responsibilities in the initial phase and starts to discover more about each other.
To make this concept clear let’s quote an example which goes on like, a relationship between a son and his mother. He will never say “I like you mom”. He will naturally say “I love you mom”. This is a natural feeling embedded ion the children once they are born.
Love is intense and tends to carry a lot of higher position in terms of emotions, feelings and sacrifice for your partner. So, now when you are having all this in your head, which name strikes your head in terms of loving? Okay let’s just make it clear to you. So imagine that you are going to die today within a few hours, whom would you love to meet? With whom would you wish to spend these last hours of your life? Did you have any name in your mind? If yes, then congratulations, you have found that “one” person. And just remember that the basic foundation of any relation is trust. Without the foundation of trust, no relation and work in the world can be successful. Same is true for love. Love is not affected by petty things. It is much complex and delicate than this. So keep liking and loving people around you. But just remember that you choose the right person for the right feelings!
