Radha's Day in India
The sun shone brightly in India, and Radha stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her earrings. Her soft, glowing skin seemed to reflect the happiness within her. Her hair was tied loosely, framing her face, and her dimples deepened as she smiled to herself. She wore a pastel pink kurti with delicate embroidery, looking simple yet radiant.
As she picked up her purse, she thought, "Rahul deserves something special this time."
She grabbed the car keys from the table, her jingling anklets matching her lively steps. Sliding into the driver's seat, she put on her sunglasses and started driving through the bustling streets of the city, humming a tune that reminded her of Rahul.
Radha parked her car in front of Golden Smith jewelers , the most renowned jewelry store in town. The air-conditioned store provided a sharp contrast to the heat outside, and the staff immediately recognized her.
Shopkeeper: “Namaste, ma’am. How can we help you today?”
Radha: smiling warmly “I’m looking for something special. A gift for someone very important.”
Shopkeeper: nodding enthusiastically “Of course, ma’am! We have the finest collection of gold jewelry. Please take a look.”
Radha walked to the counter, her eyes scanning the gleaming necklaces and bracelets. Then, her gaze fell on a stunning gold chain, elegant yet understated—just like Rahul’s taste.
Radha: “That one. Can I see it?”
The shopkeeper placed the chain on a velvet tray.
Radha: holding it up “This is perfect .”
She ran her fingers over the intricate design, imagining Rahul's reaction. Her dimples deepened as she smiled, lost in thought.
Shopkeeper: “Excellent choice, ma’am. Shall I pack it for you?”
Radha: nodding “Yes, please. And also, engraved engraved these initials—RK.
The shopkeeper quickly noted her request and prepared the gift. After paying the bill, Radha placed the small, beautifully wrapped box in her bag.
As she stepped out, the warm breeze hit her face. She got into her car, her heart racing with excitement.
While driving back, she couldn’t stop thinking about Rahul’s reaction. "He'll tease me, I'm sure. But I know he'll love it".❤️
She turned on the radio, the lively music filling the car as she drove through the streets, her face glowing with happiness.
Radha was lost in the excitement of the surprise she had for Rahul. With the gift carefully tucked in her bag and her heart full of thoughts about him, she drove through the busy streets, humming along to the music. The wind swept through her hair, and everything felt perfect.
But in an instant, the peaceful drive was shattered.
From nowhere, a large truck swerved into her lane, speeding dangerously. Radha barely had time to react, her eyes wide with shock. She tried to swerve the car to the side, but it was too late. The truck came barreling toward her, and before she could regain control, it collided with the side of her car.
A deafening crash echoed through the air. The impact was so severe that her car spun out of control, and within moments, it slammed into a streetlight before coming to a halt.
The street was eerily silent. The truck, which had caused the collision, sped away without stopping. The chaos of the accident was all-consuming, but the world seemed to pause for a moment.
Inside the car, Radha lay unconscious, the blood from her injuries staining her clothes. The gift for Rahul lay on the passenger seat, untouched, the box now opened, the beautiful gold chain gleaming faintly under the broken shards of the window.
Passerby rushed to the scene, calling for help, but it was too late.
Radha had left the world too soon.
जिस दिन तुझको ना देखूं पागल पागल फिरती हूँ
कौन तुझे यूँ प्यार करेगा जैसे मैं करती हूँ हो हो..😭

A Few Days Later...
Rahul sat in his hotel room in Singapore, scrolling through his business emails in phone. He had just gotten off a call with his family, feeling a mix of emotions as he prepared to attend the grand event. he was planing to go india as early as possible, But something felt off. His phone buzzed once again.
It was a message. A news notification.
"Accident in India claims the life of Radha Gupta in a tragic collision with a truck".
His heart dropped.
"Radha...?" he whispered, his voice trembling. He stared at the screen, the reality of it sinking in. He couldn’t comprehend what he was reading.
It couldn’t be true. Not Radha. Not her.
The world seemed to spin around him as he sat there, frozen. The excitement of the night ahead, the celebrations—everything vanished in an instant.
Radha was gone.
Tears stung his eyes as he closed the message, his mind racing, trying to make sense of the impossible.
Rahul stared at the phone screen, his hands trembling. His eyes blurred with tears as he read the words again: "Accident in India claims the life of Radha Gupta in a tragic collision with a truck."
“No..., No, this can't be real... this can't be happening," he whispered, his voice breaking. His heart felt like it had been ripped from his chest. He staggered back, his knees weak, and collapsed onto the bed.
"Radha... no!"😩🥺
His mind was racing, unable to process the pain. He thought about their last conversation. Her laughter. Her smile. How happy she made him. All of it, now shattered. He couldn’t breathe.
Why didn't I say it? Why didn't I tell her how much I loved her?
The guilt hit him like a tidal wave. 😞 He pressed his hands over his eyes, but the tears wouldn’t stop. His heart was broken into pieces. I should have been there...
He looked around the room—the excitement of the grand event, the hustle, the noise—all of it felt so far away now. All that mattered was her. Radha. And now... she was gone.
"Hamare paas time to hai na , Rahul?"
Her voice echoed in his mind. Her playful words, her teasing, her laughter. The promise that they had time... time to build a life together.
But now, I’m left with nothing...
Tears rolled down his cheeks, and he slammed his fist against the bed. 😭Why,Radha? Why? He couldn’t stop crying. It was as if the world around him had collapsed. His dreams, his future, everything felt so empty without her.
Why didn't I tell her that I wanted to Marry her?The thought kept repeating in his mind like an endless loop. He couldn’t undo it. He couldn’t bring her back.
He stared at his phone again, her last message still there, unread. He reached for it with shaky hands, but his body felt numb. I should have .... I should have been with her....
“Radha...I'm so sorry... I'm sorry for everything.... I should’ve been the one to say it First. I should’ve been there..... I should’ve told you.........
He spoke out loud, though no one was there to hear him. His voice cracked. You were everything to me,Radha.You... you were my light. My heart...and now...now it's all dark.
He curled up on the bed, clutching the pillow, sobbing uncontrollably. The weight of the regret and loss was too much to bear. He didn’t care about the event anymore, or the awards, or the success. It didn’t matter. None of it mattered without her.
I can’t do this without you, Radha. Please... please come back...
But no answer came. Only silence. And the memory of her smile. The dimples on her cheeks when she laughed. He closed his eyes, wishing with all his heart that he could turn back time. But it was too late.
"If you lose someone you love, don't be sad. It might be part of your story, but remember, God's plan is always greater than ours. Trust Him, for He knows what’s best for you."
[To be continued....]
