Finally the birthday of Rahul arrives..
The sun is just beginning to rise in America, casting a soft glow through the window. Rahul is still groggy, wrapped in his blanket, when his phone begins to ring. He squints at the screen—it’s a video call from his family back in India.
With a small smile, he sits up and answers the call. Instantly, his mom, dad, and sister Aarushi appear on the screen, all grinning.
Mom: excitedly “Happy Birthday, beta! 🎉 You’re 26 now—our big boy! I still remember when you were just a little baby, and now look at you! All grown up and studying in America.”
Rahul: grinning and rubbing his eyes “Thanks, Mom! You didn’t have to wake up so early just for this, you know?”
Dad: laughing “Are you kidding? You think your mother would let any of us sleep? She’s been waiting to call you for hours!”
Aarushi (his sister): grinning “Happy Birthday, bhai 💖! So, what’s the plan? Going to have a big American birthday party? Or are you just going to sit and study like always?” teases him
Rahul: laughs “You know me, Aarushi. I’ve got classes and assignments. But maybe I’ll grab a coffee or something. Nothing crazy.”
Mom: mock-scolding “Nothing crazy? Rahul, at least treat yourself to something nice! You’re only 26 once! And by the way, I sent you something special, so make sure to check your mailbox later today.”
Dad: nodding “Yes, your mom insisted. She thinks you won’t be able to celebrate properly without a little bit of home. So, be ready for a surprise!”
Rahul: smiling “Alright, I’ll keep an eye out for it. Thanks, Mom and Dad. You guys always know how to make me feel special—even from halfway around the world.”
Aarushi: playfully “And hey, don’t think you’re off the hook just because you’re far away. When you come back, we’re throwing you a huge party whether you like it or not!”
Rahul: chuckling “I’ll be ready for it. But don’t go overboard, okay?”
Mom: lovingly “Beta, we’re just so proud of you. You’re working hard, and we miss you so much. Remember, even though you’re far, we’re always with you.
Rahul: warmly “Thanks, Mom. I’ll make sure to call later. Love you all.❤️
Just then,he got a conference call from his friends
,He picks up the call.
Sam: loudly, practically yelling “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RAHUL! 🎉🎉”
Emily: laughing “You thought you could keep your birthday a secret from us, huh? Nice try! 😆”
Friend #1: “Rahul, how could you think we wouldn’t find out? We’re practically your second family here!”
Rahul: chuckling, a bit embarrassed “Alright, alright, you guys got me. Thanks, everyone. But come on, no big deal—it’s just another day, right?”
Sam: “Oh, no. Not just any day. It’s THE day the great Rahul was born. So, don’t even think about hiding out in the library or anything. We’re meeting at college, and we’re going out for lunch. No excuses!”
Emily: teasing “Yeah, Rahul. And you better be ready for some serious fun. We’re not letting you get away with just ‘business studies’ on your birthday!”
Friend #2: “Plus, I’ve got a little surprise waiting for you at college. So don’t be late, okay?”
Rahul: smiling, feeling touched “Wow, you guys really went all out, didn’t you? Fine, fine, I’ll see you all there. Thanks for making me feel special. Really, it means a lot.”
Sam: “Aww, don’t get too emotional on us now! Just bring yourself to campus and be ready to celebrate. 🎉”
Emily: “Yes! And don’t worry—we’ve made sure there’s no cake, just so you won’t hide. But we’ve got something even better.”
Rahul: laughing “Alright, alright, I’ll be there soon. Can’t wait to see what you all have planned.”
Sam: “That’s the spirit! Happy birthday again, bro🤜. See you soon!”
Rahul got up feeling lighter than usual. After calls with his family and friends, he was looking forward to the day. He put on his best outfit, gave himself a final look in the mirror, and headed out with a grin.
Arriving on campus, he met Sam, Emily, and a few others, who had something planned. They all headed into their lecture, and Rahul stashed his phone in his bag, putting it on silent to avoid distractions.

During the Lecture
As the professor droned on, Rahul’s phone sat forgotten in his bag, quietly buzzing. It was Radha, calling to wish him on his birthday. She left a few missed calls and texts, thinking he might be free between classes. In her messages, she’d sent playful hints, hoping to catch him in a moment of surprise.

After Class: Birthday Celebration
Once the lecture ended, Sam and the others pulled him aside. “Birthday boy, you’re not getting away that easily. Time for some fun!” Sam grinned, guiding him toward the café. The café was decorated with balloons and lights . All His friends wish him in one tone *HAPPYYY BIRTHDAYYY ❤️RAHUL*
Then , Rahul cut the cake and After celebration he came home ..
After a long, fun-filled day with his friends, Rahul finally returned to his apartment. Tired but happy, he tossed his bag aside and threw himself onto his bed. He took a deep breath, reliving the day in his mind, when he suddenly remembered his phone.
He reached into his bag, unlocked the phone, and his eyes widened as he saw the list of missed calls and messages from Radha. She had called and texted him multiple times, and he hadn’t replied once. His heart sank a bit, knowing she must have been waiting to wish him all day. Without hesitating, he tapped her name and called her back.
The phone rang for a while before she finally picked up.
Radha: silent on the other end, not saying a word.😣
Rahul: softly “Hello? Radha? Are you there?”
Still, there was silence.
Rahul: sighing, realizing she’s upset “I’m so sorry, Radha. I know you tried calling me all day... I just... got caught up with classes and some surprises my friends had planned.” He pauses, hoping she’ll say something. “Please, talk to me?”
Radha: finally breaking the silence, voice soft but clearly hurt “Did you really forget about me today, Rahul? I was so excited to wish you… but it felt like you forgot I even existed.”
Rahul: quickly, trying to explain “No, no, Radha. I could never forget about you. You’re the most important person to me! I just... didn’t check my phone, and I got so distracted with everything going on here.”
Radha: still a bit upset “It’s like you didn’t even think about me once today...”
Rahul: gently “You’re wrong about that. In fact, I was thinking about you the whole time. I was wondering when I’d get a quiet moment to talk to you properly. But now that I have you here… Happy Birthday to me, from the person who means the most to me.” he chuckles, trying to lighten the mood
Radha: huffing but a smile creeping in her voice “That’s not going to work. You can’t just charm your way out of this, you know?”
Rahul: playfully “Maybe not, but I’ll keep trying. You know me, I’m stubborn.”
Radha: finally laughing a little “Fine, I’ll let it go this time. But only because it’s your birthday.”
Rahul: relieved “Thank you, Radha. And I promise, next year, you’ll be the first call I make. No one else will come close.”
Radha: smiling “You better keep that promise, Rahul.”
Rahul: Of course, Radha.
Radha : Happy Birthday To the best person, best friend ,and best.....
Rahul : What , best ..... tell me, Radha . I want to listen from you..
Radha: Ahh....bes....best.❤️ partner
Rahul :- Ohh , really . Thank you radha ...
After talking to her Call ends..
