The company's first phone, the SH-100 model, was launched in 1988, followed by the SGH-200. Samsung's expansion continued globally, and in 1995, the company made its debut in India. Initially, Samsung had two manufacturing units in Noida. By 2005, the company began manufacturing mobile phones in India, and by 2012, Samsung had become one of the leading mobile companies in the country.
