Love at First Slight - 5

"Alright, class! Your hard work has paid off, and now it's time to celebrate!" Professor Rao announced, a wide smile on his face. "Your Diwali vacation starts now!"

The students erupted in cheers and applause, their faces beaming with joy.

"Sir, thank you so much!" Rahul exclaimed. "We're thrilled to have a break!"

"I'm sure you all deserve it," Professor Rao said with a chuckle. "So, what are your plans for Diwali?"

"I'm going to light lots of fireworks with my friends!" Arav exclaimed.

"And I'm going to eat lots of sweets and savories!" Aisha added, her eyes sparkling.

"I'm going to visit my grandparents and enjoy some quality time with them," Rohan said, smiling.

"That's wonderful!" Professor Rao said. "Diwali is a time for celebration, but also for family and loved ones. Make sure to cherish those moments."

"Sir, what are your plans for Diwali?" Rahul asked curiously.

"Ah, I'll be spending time with my family, too," Professor Rao replied. "We'll light diyas, exchange gifts, and enjoy some delicious food together."

The students nodded, excited for their own celebrations.

"Have a wonderful Diwali, everyone!" Professor Rao said, as the students packed up their bags and bid each other farewell.

"Happy Diwali, sir!" they chimed in unison, grinning from ear to ear.

As they left the classroom, the students couldn't stop talking about their Diwali plans. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation, and the festive spirit was palpable.

As they walked home, Rahul, Aisha, Rohan, and Arav chatted excitedly about their Diwali plans.

"I can't wait to light those fireworks!" Arav exclaimed.

"Me neither! My mom has already bought a ton of them," Rahul replied, grinning.

"I'm more excited about the food," Aisha said, her eyes sparkling. "My mom's making all my favorite dishes!"

"And I'm looking forward to wearing new clothes and getting gifts!" Rohan added, laughing.

"Hey, have you guys heard about the Diwali fair in our neighborhood?" Rahul asked.

"No, what's that?" Aisha asked curiously.

"There are going to be games, food stalls, and even a magic show!" Rahul said. "We should totally go!"

"Definitely! Let's make a plan to meet up there tomorrow evening," Arav suggested.

"Sounds like a blast!" Rohan exclaimed.

As they approached their homes, the friends bid each other farewell, already looking forward to their Diwali celebrations together.

"Happy Diwali, guys! See you tomorrow!" Rahul said, smiling.

"Happy Diwali! Have a great time with your families!" Aisha replied, waving goodbye.

The friends went their separate ways, their hearts filled with joy and excitement for the festive days ahead.

Rahul walked into his home, eager to share his excitement with his sister, Aarushi.

"Hey, Aaru! Guess what? We got a Diwali vacation!" Rahul exclaimed.

Aarushi, who was lounging on the couch, looked up with a mischievous grin. "Oh, finally! Now I can sleep all day and watch TV all night!"

Rahul rolled his eyes. "You're such a couch potato, Aaru!"

"Hey, someone's got to keep the couch warm!" Aarushi replied, laughing.

"Anyway, what are your plans for Diwali?" Rahul asked.

"Plans? What plans? I'm just going to eat, sleep, and watch TV. Maybe pull off a few pranks on you," Aarushi said with a sly smile.

Rahul chuckled. "You're such a troublemaker, Aaru!"

Just then, their mom called out from the kitchen, "Kids! Come help me with the Diwali decorations!"

Aarushi groaned. "Do we have to? Can't we just watch TV instead?"

Rahul laughed. "Come on, Aaru! It'll be fun! We can make the house look like a fireworks explosion!"

Aarushi playfully rolled her eyes. "Fine, but only if I get to put up the most sparkly decorations!"

Together, the siblings reluctantly headed to the kitchen to start decorating, bickering and laughing along the way. Here's the continuation:
