Unexpected Love - Episode 5

As she reached the office entrance, climbing stairs, she saw the lift, then said, running with gasping, "Hey, stop... stop right there! Let me catch up with you!"

The person in the lift turned around and waited for Ishqi to join them, smiling warmly at her determination. Ishqi felt a sense of camaraderie as she stepped into the lift, ready to embark on this new chapter with newfound confidence. She saw Ruhan seeing her annoyingly and Yash smiling seeing her saying, "Welcome, Ishqi, and all the best for the first day of office. May you shine bright like always." Ishqi felt a surge of gratitude towards her new colleagues for their warm welcome, and she knew that she was in the right place to thrive. The lift doors closed, and as they ascended, Ishqi felt a wave of excitement for the opportunities that lay ahead in her new job.

Ruhan sees Ishqi as the lift door opens. As he reaches the seventh floor, he says with coldness, "Ishqi, behave yourself and remember your place in this company as an intern going to work with me, as you are assisting me, plus Yash, don't forget manners. As you are not at home, Yash, you too."

Ruhan walks away, and Yash says with a bored reaction, "Really, my brother is so boring sometimes. Don't worry; just ignore him and focus on your work. He's always like this with new interns." Ishqi smiled gratefully at Yash, feeling reassured as she stepped out of the lift onto the seventh floor.
Ishqi asked with a surprised expression, "Ruhan, sir, is your real brother ?"

Yash chuckled. "Yes, he is. But don't worry; he's tough on everyone. You will get bad of it." Ishqi nodded, feeling a sense of relief knowing that Ruhan's behaviour was not personal. Yash patted Ishqi on the back. "Just keep working hard, and you'll earn his respect eventually."
Ishqi thanked Yash for the advice and headed towards her desk, feeling more confident about her internship.

Ruhan reached his cabin, saw Yuvaan already there, and greeted him with a smile. Ruhan nodded in acknowledgment before settling into his chair, ready to start the day's work. Yuvaan glanced at him and asked, "Yaar Ruhan, what happened?"

Ruhan says with a tense look, "Really, you feel that Ishqi is a bubbly girl, and still her childish behaviour is irritating." Yuvaan raised an eyebrow, sensing the tension in Ruhan's voice, and replied, "Maybe there's more to her than meets the eye. Give her a chance." Ruhan considered Yuvaan's words before nodding his head in agreement, realising that perhaps he needed to look at Ishqi from a different perspective.

Ruhan decided to approach Ishqi with an open mind and see her in a new light, hoping to understand her better. Yuvaan smiled as he is glad that he could help his friend see things differently.

Ruhan reached home and saw his family eagerly planning his marriage. He walked towards his room and remembered Ishqi's smiley face and her skill at handling clients. He smiled, seeing the mirror, and realised that maybe Ishqi's potential was worth exploring further, beyond just their initial interactions. As he looked at himself in the mirror, he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to Ishqi than what met the eye, just like Yuvaan had suggested.

Ruhan ignores that thought and goes to freshen up. However, as he splashed water on his face, the image of Ishqi's smile lingered in his mind, making him reconsider his initial impression of her. Maybe there was something special about her after all.

Ruhan got fresh, changed his clothes, and came to the living room. He saw his mother on the wheel, signing by the eyes to see his wedding sherwani and bridal lehenga. His heart skipped a beat as he realised the significance of his mother's gesture. It was a stark reminder that his life was about to change in ways he hadn't anticipated. Ruhan smiled and said, understanding his paralysed mother sitting in a wheelchair, "Maa , you have always been my rock, and today you're my angel as well." With tears in his eyes, Ruhan embraced his mother, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for her unwavering love and support. In that moment, he knew he was ready to embark on this new chapter of his life with her blessings by his side.

Yash came and saw this saying joining their hug: "Dad, see, Ruhan bro is always lost in his thoughts, just like you. Never miss me, Maa; you are also always there for him, no matter what." Ruhan and his family shared a moment of love and unity, knowing that they would always be there for each other through thick and thin. They smiled upon seeing Yash's innocent observation, grateful for the strong bond they shared as a family. It was a reminder of the unconditional love and support that would guide them through whatever challenges lay ahead.

Someone came from upstairs with an annoyed look. She says in her mind, "Oh god, melodrama family. I just can't handle it anymore. I need to make a plan to run away from them and this boring Ruhan too." She made an excuse and left the house. Grandma saw her in anger and felt a little doubt in her heart, but she brushed it off. She knew that not everyone could appreciate the warmth and closeness of their family dynamic. Grandma decided to focus on the love and connection she shared with Yash, knowing that was what truly mattered in the end.

Ruhan saw that girl left and he got angry seeing this, but he knew deep down that she needed space and time to figure things out for herself. He decided to give her the freedom she needed, trusting that she would come back when she was ready.
