His Rogue Luna - 7

Chapter 3

I woke up and did my normal routine. The plan is in session.

Step 1: Find my mate.

This wasn't my original first step but Winter wanted me to wait for our mate and wait I shall. I went through the normal routine. I cleaned for an hour and a half then began breakfast. As I was cooking I got the smell of an ocean breeze in the summer with a hint of lemongrass. It was the most amazing smell in the world....

And it was getting stronger. I panicked. Winter was busy dancing around in my head. I turned my head as my mate turned the corner. Oh hell no! My mate was... was....

The Alpha's son. Chase Rogers.

What in the hell? Why Goddess? Why him? I asked her. Meanwhile Chase fucking Rogers strolled towards me with a smug grin on his face. He grabbed my neck and pushed me against the wall. Tingles and sparks spread where his hand touched my neck.

"Lets get this over and done with. I, Chase Rogers reject you, Gemma Frost as my mate." Pain rippled through my body.

Winter was whimpering and crying.

HE MADE MY WOLF CRY!!

All she wanted was love and this fool ruined it. When one is rejected it removes the emotional connection between mates. When the rejection is accepted the physical connection is also broken. Hence making you un mated once more.

'This is for you Winter.' I told her through mind link.

She was confused until I did the thing I swore never to do again. I spoke. After 11 years I spoke. For Winter and I to rid us of our mate. But my victorious moment was so not as awesome because my voice came out as a super dry whisper and it hurt so damn much. And I really pictured it in my head that my voice would be strong. Oh well.

"I, Gemma Frost accept your rejection."

Chase's POV

I was stunned. I didn't expect her to talk back. She had never spoken before. Ever.

I woke up this morning to the smell of damp earth and roses. I walked into the kitchen only to find Gemma. She turned and saw me. I decided to reject her knowing she couldn't accept it. She was not part of the pack so she couldn't mind link it. Instead she spoke.

Though it came out as a dry whisper she did it. Our mate bond disappeared and an empty space was opened in me. One only she could fill. I removed my hand from her neck and stepped back. She turned around like she didn't feel the pain or the loss and continued to make breakfast. I heard someone coming so I stumbled out of the kitchen to my room.

What have I done?

Gemma's POV

It was so funny seeing the look on Chase's face when I rejected him. I was laughing inside and so was Winter.

'You okay?' I asked concerned.

'Am I okay?' She laughed 'I'm ecstatic. That was so awesome. Did you see the look on his face.... priceless. I wish I had a camera.'

I chuckled. She would be fine. She was tough as shit.

'Yeah I am.'

Ok. Now back to business. I put on the scent blocking spray. The day progressed as usual. Now for the next step.

Step 2: Get out of the house.

I did everything like I was supposed to. I even made lunch. Adding too much salt and some sugar to it. Again, just as a goodbye. After cleaning up, I went to the alpha to go ask to buy more cleaning supplies. He gave me money which I pretended to drop on my way out.

He didn't call me back for it. He probably wanted me to suffer in the supermarket. He also have me the keys to the truck but I left them in the floor outside his office. I walked till the tree line of the forest then looked back. I sure wasn't gonna miss this. I ran in the forest using my super speed. I was grinning like fool. When we were far enough Winter got impatient. She wanted to shift. So I let her.

After all these years I felt free when I shifted. My clothes ripped but I didn't give a damn. I wanted this so badly for so long. My coat was soft and groomed. I was the size of a fully grown horse. Much larger than typical alpha male. My pure white fur moved in the wind. I still had my brown eyes. Not to brag but I was beautiful.

Step 2 complete. No one can stop me now.
