I have never felt so much helpless for being a woman until
There was an event in our university in the entire week of women’s day where a guest gave a speech that how technology brought improvement in women recruitment. He said something like that, because technology reduces the requirement of manpower so womens are capable to compete in this market. They don’t have to worry that mens physical strength anymore and congratulated our IT department.
First of all I am already worried about the fact that we have to organize these events to spread awareness about the rights which womens already had according to law and Government. Now this person just disgust me with those words. Like what type of physical strength are you talking about?
It is never mentioned when a women labour in construction sites pulled dozens of cement,bricks and sands . Or when our mothers and aunts rinsed hundreds of clothes in one half of a day. And womens are “allowed to ” who is this so called society you are you mentioning? Which will allow them to work. It is our human rights from moment we born in this earth .
We are the sinners in our homes . Bring the change from the smallest.
Also who am I talking about, if I can’t change the environment of my own home, then I have no rights to blame another person. He also maybe influenced by the majestic masculinity in his own father and uncles
Also his son will also learn how to “protect” the female members as so called men’s representative.
My mothers and grandmothers brings up a spicy journal of gossips when the daughter of the lady in our neighborhood caught up while smoking in desert place. And also puts an blind eye when the jobless rocky boys in our locality finishes dozens of cigarettes, in the roadside slab in the name of so called “boy’s frustration”. As the representative of the frustration less creatures when I argued about the fact , I was honoured with the title of “ALAKSHMI”.( The oposite of the goddess “LAKSHMI” which all good girls are idolised in our region)
An advice to all those mens who are
Reading this article by any chance.
First of all thank you to read this further. To all those mens who think going outside late at night , wearing skirts,and bold make ups, or being modern are the resons of raps like “NIRVAYA" incident or sexual harrasment please make sure to throw your thoughts in garbage truck.
First make sure you go home early after work rather than offering girls to drop home for show off. And please stop peeping and touching them in public places. If you realy want us to go out out full sleeved first you stop showing up shirtless or in half pants before girls.
