My third story from The Gift of Life, Story name is "
You see the way you are"once a consultant was returning by train from a tiring business trip. It was late in the evening and the Co-passengers were preparing to retire - some reading newspapers, some finishing supper, and some resting with their eyes closed.

On the next station, middle-aged man entered the coach with his three kids. The children were so noisy and mischievous that they distrubed the entire coach. The father sat down next to the consultant and closed his eyes, as if ignorant of the chaos created by his kids. The Children were shouting at each other, throwing things, even grabbing newspapers from people. And yet, the father did nothing.
it was difficult not to feel irritated. The consultant could not believe that a father could be so insensitive as to let his children run wild like that and do nothing about it, taking no responsibility at all. it was very obvious that everyone else in the coach were equally irritated. So finally, he turned to the father and said, "sir, your children are really disturbing a lot of people. I wonder if you couldn't control them a little more?"
The man lifted his eyes as if he became aware of the situation for the first time and said softly, "oh, you are right. I guess I should do something about it. we just came from the hospital where their mother died about an hour ago. I don't know what to think, and I guess they don't know how to handle it either."
can you imagine what the consultant felt at that moment?
His perspectives changed. suddenly, he saw things in a completely different light. His behaviour changed drastically. His irritation vanished. His heart was filled with feeling of sympathy and compassion.
"your wife just died? oh, I am so sorry! can you tell me about it? what can I do to help you?"
Everything changed in an instant.

(हम कहीं बार बिना कुछ जाने बिना कुछ समझे किसीको भी जज कर लेते है। एक बार भी ये नही सोचते की सामने वाला ऐसा क्यु है या फिर ऐसा क्यों बन गया है।
यहाँ पर बात बच्चो की हुई है जिसने अपनी माँ को खो दिया है। उन बच्चो को इतनी भी समझ नहीं थी। की वो अपने आपको कैसे संभाले, अपने अंदर चल रहे तूफ़ान को कैसे शांत करे।
इस कहानी में दोनों ही अपनी अपनी जगह सही थे। गलत तो देखने का नजरिया था। जो आँखों देखी बात को सही समझ लेता है। बिना ये जाने की सामने वाला ऐसा क्यों है। अगर वो ऐसा कर रहा है तो उसकी क्या वजह है।
सारे इंसान यहीं चाहते है की वो अच्छे से रहे, सबसे प्यार से बात करे, खुद खुश रहे और बाकी सबको भी खुश रखे। पर यहीं तो जिंदगी है जहाँ पर कब क्या हो जाता है पता ही नहीं है किसीको! ऐसे हालत हो जाते है की जो जैसा है वैसा नहीं रह पाता है।)
