Unlocking The Secrets of Life - 16

The Bad is In You and Not In The World

A long time ago there was a great shah. He ordered to build a beautiful palace which had many wonderful things in it. Among other curiosities in the palace there was a hall, where all the walls, the sealing, the door and even the floor were made of mirror. The mirrors were so clear and smooth that visitors didn’t understand at once that there was a mirror in front of them – so accurately the mirrors would reflect the objects. Moreover, the walls of this hall were made in a way that they created an extraordinary increased echo.

One time a pack of dogs surrounded a dog as it entered the hallway from all sides, from above, and from below. The dog froze in shock in the middle of the hallway. The dog barked his teeth just in case, and all of the reflections reacted in the same way. The dog barked frantically in fear, and the echo repeated and amplified the bark several times. The echo was keeping up with the dog's increasingly loud barking. The dog tossed around, biting the air, and his reflections did the same, wagging their teeth as they did.

The poor dog was found by the guards in the morning, lifeless and surrounded by a plethora of reflections of other deceased canines. The dog was untouchable by anyone who could cause any harm. Up until his death, the dog struggled with his own reflection.

Good and evil are not brought about by the earth on their own. Everything that occurs in the world is a reflection of our own ideas, emotions, aspirations, and behaviors. The entire universe serves as a giant mirror. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
