' Thankyou boss for dropping me ' I say
He just smile and left . ' I am home ' I said to mom . She was busy cooking dinner so I went upstairs to change. After half an hour I go down for dinner. After finishing dinner, mom and I talk almost 1 hours . She asked me how was the first day of my office?, did I have to do lots of work? etc ...I told her everything and after a few minutes I said ' mom I am very tired I will go into my room to take some rest ' mom said 'okay' .
'Wake up Nayasha it's almost 8:30 am . You'll be late for the office ' mom was shouting from the door. I thought that it was a trick to wake me up fast . Usually she used to wake me up like this. She used to tell me it's 9:00 am and I used to wake up so fast and when I checked time it would be around 7:00 am only so today I thought that she was using her trick. But when I check time on my phone it's almost 8: 40 am .I hurriedly got up from my bed and changed my dress. ' Oo God I am late for my office. Yesterday my boss told me the rules and regulations of the office and one strict rule was that I have to be on time and now I'm late for my office '. I hurriedly left my home without having breakfast. When I reached the office it was around 10 am and everyone was already on time And doing their work .When I was about to take a seat my boss saw me . He came near me . I can clearly see his anger in his face . I was very nervous because one of my colleagues told me that he is very strict. I say ' good morning Boss ' but he didn't give me any response. Everyone in the office was staring at us . He said ' Everyone do your work and you Nayasha come to my office ' . One colleague came near me , her name was Preetika and she said ' poor girl , i think Today no one can save you from boss anger ' . And she left smiling . I went to the Boss office . He was busy doing something on his laptop. And he looks up and he says 'I think you don't take your job seriously. Yesterday only I told you to be on time and I guess you don't follow the rules of my office . I can't tolerate people who don't follow rules'. My eyes were all filled with tears and I was not able to look straight into him.I was very guilty because for the first time I broke the rules . ' Hey, are you listening to me' he says . I immediately answer 'yes sir '. In an angry tone he said ' if you are not interested in this job tell me there are many people who desperately want this job ' . 'No boss I'm interested and I'm sorry boss. I won't repeat my mistake and next time I won't disappoint you. I am really very sorry ' I say and tears were falling from my eyes. He noticed my eyes and he said with a soft voice ' Nayasha look up into my face . I was not able to look up because tears were continuously falling from my eyes. He came near me .He lifted my face up with his hand . He wiped my tears and says 'why are u crying?. I'm sorry if I'm rude to you '. 'Boss you don't need to apologise it's my fault that I'm late . I promise you that I won't be late again ' . He just smiles and says ' I think that you are very strong when you scold me in public but you are actually a cry baby ' and he laughs.I was so surprised that he recognised me and I'm so ashamed of myself for that day. ' I'm sorry boss ' I say . He answered immediately ' 'Now what is this sorry for?' I say ' For that day '. He just give me a sweet smile.When I see him smiling .I just got lost in his smile. My heart was beating so fast . I can feel my heart beat all over my body .He then said 'okay now you can leave.' I just nodded and I left . I was doing some work but I was not able to concentrate on my work. All I was thinking was how handsome he is . I can't get over his smile . He has such a pure smile . Suddenly the Boss came. I stand up from my desk. ' Boss do you need anything ' I say and He says with a soft voice ' please complete this work ' . He handed me a file . I say 'okay sir ' . He was about to leave .My stomach suddenly starts growling . I hurriedly keep my hand in my stomach. He came near me ' Did you have your breakfast? ' he said . 'I...I..I.. ' but he cut my words and told me to come with him to have lunch because it was around 12 pm . I was pretending that I did not hear anything and I was going to sit in my chair . He held my hand and he took me out .
