Lila and Ravi

Lila and Ravi

Lila had always loved riding her bike through the peaceful streets of her neighborhood. She loved feeling the wind in her hair and the sun on her face. But one day, Lila lost her balance and fell off her bike, scraping her knee and elbow. As she tried to get up, a man approached her.

"Are you okay?" he asked, offering a hand to help her.

Lila was grateful for his help. "Thank you so much. I'm Lila."

"I'm Ravi," he replied with a smile. "It's nice to meet you, although I wish it were under better circumstances."

Lila and Ravi quickly developed a friendship. They discovered they were neighbors and often ran into each other during their morning walks. They started talking more, and Lila increasingly enjoyed Ravi's company.

One day, after a delightful conversation, Ravi asked, "Lila, do you want to grab coffee with me sometime?"

Lila smiled. "I'd love that, Ravi."

Lila couldn't help but feel attracted to Ravi as they met frequently. He was kind, funny, and easygoing. But Lila was a widow with a son, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for a new relationship. She was very young when her husband died. She spent years in taking care of her son. She never ever thought of herself. Her only aim was to provide best educaation to her son. Now her son was also a grown up man. He was independent. He was about to leave for further studies to foriegn country.

When she shared her concerns with Ravi, he smiled and said, "Lila, I know you've been through a lot. But I like you for who you are, and I will wait until you're ready."

Lila's son, however, needed to be more understanding. He was protective of his mother and didn't like the idea of her being with someone new. "I don't want you to get hurt again, Mom," he said.

Lila knew her son meant well but couldn't ignore her feelings for Ravi. So she continued to see him, and eventually, her son began to see how happy Ravi made her. Her son also felt that Lila has found a new company. She would not feel lonely when he would go to persue his further studies. Ravi will be there to take care of her and support her.

One day, as they sat on Lila's porch, sipping coffee, Ravi took Lila's hand and said, "Lila, I've been thinking about this for a while now. I want to be with you. I want to make a life with you."

Lila's heart swelled with emotion. "Ravi, I feel the same way. But I have to ask my son."

Ravi tells her that her son had only asked Ravi to propose her. She felt so happy.

And with that, they sealed their love with a hug. Lila's son was very happy that his mother got happiness back in her life. The three became a family, and Lila knew she had found the right person and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.
