"Uh... Kelvin you seem to work out a lot" I said with my eyes closed.
"How did you know?" he asked.
I signed in annoyance.
I was trying to tell him I was feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Plus he is hugging me so tight I can't breathe.
"Open your eyes Alex there is no need to be shy"
"Um like this I would just fall asleep quickly"
"If you don't open your eyes I would do something you might not like" he says.
I opened my eyes to see a pair of green orbs staring back at me.
One of the reasons why Kelvin is the most popular in our school is because of his good looks.
I noticed the necklace he was wearing had a red ruby, and he always wore it every time both morning and night. He has been wearing this necklace since the first day we met. I even noticed Amanda wearing it.
I touched it "Why do you always wear this?" I asked.
"This? I am meant to wear this in order not to turn into a dangerous monster" He said so casually.
"Pfft haha that doesn't make any sense" I said
"Haha yes it doesn't" he said suddenly looking sad.
"Alex I have noticed you acting a bit weird today is there any problem? Well I know you are sad about what happened between you and Felix, but feel a bit more uncomfortable around me"
"Psh what are you talking about that's not true" I said.
"Did you by any chance talk to Felix lately?" He asked, looking serious.
"No I already told you he has been avoiding me, even his brother is avoiding me, I just don't understand why" I said frustrated.
"Don't worry about it too much" he says.
"Kelvin I have been thinking we always do everything together. How about we do things separately, at least for a while" I suggested.
He frowned, "I don't like that idea" he said.
"Come on Kelvin just for a month"
"You are just doing this to try to get me to make friends isn't it?"
I touched his face "it's for your own good Kelvin, what if tomorrow you don't see me again? You have everything you need, you don't need me" I said.
His grip tightened "Alex I can't do without you because I-I" He hesitated.
I patted his back "You just need to learn how to" I said.
He sniffled "I feel like you would leave me"
"Calm down I am not going anywhere yet, are you a baby stop overreacting"
"I am not overreacting; you are the one sounding like you are leaving for real"

Two weeks later...
My mum came home looking excited. "Kids I have great news"
"Mum it better not be boring" Laura my sister says.
"Laura mum's not boring, don't mind her mum what's the good news"
"Hey I wasn't talking" she got annoyed.
"Please you guys shouldn't fight and spoil my mood, the good news is that I got a new job that pays well" She says.
"Wow that's mum I am happy for you" I said.
"Yeah but the problem is that we would have to relocate and it's far, so you guys would have to transfer to another school"
My face dropped.
My mum talked to us and told us to tell all our friends goodbye before we leave.
But I couldn't tell Kelvin goodbye I didn't have the courage to.

I hesitated to knock on the door.
I wonder if everything will be back to normal after what happened.
I knocked on the door before entering.
He looked up at me.
"Good Morning Sir" I said while dropping the cup of coffee on the table.
"Good Morning, did you sleep well?" He asked cheerfully, making me more scared.
"Y-yes I did" I said nervously.
"You don't need to be uncomfortable around me, I have already forgiven you" He said.
"You have?" I asked surprised.
"Of course I have, although I was mad that you left without letting me know but I honestly just wanted you to come back" he said.
"Really? Thank you, I thought you would never forgive me, did you like the gift I gave you?" I asked.
"Yes it was a nice music box, you got it so that it would help me sleep isn't it?" he guessed.
He is so good at figuring things out.
"Yes that's because I have noticed you haven't been sleeping well lately" I said.
"You haven't changed at all" He smiled, staring at me.
"You too I guess"
I have noticed some changes in him but there is no way I am telling him that.
He chuckled "I have changed a bit though, could you call me by my name?"
"You are my boss I can't do that or else people would think there is something going on between us"
He muttered something incoherent
"Well I will head back to my work now because there are some things I didn't finish doing on Friday" I wanted to leave when a question popped into my head but I didn't know how to ask him.
I guess I would ask him later. I am just glad things will be back to normal.
