I forgot my phone in the car so I went downstairs to get it on coming back. I almost bumped into Kelvin's dad.
"I-I am sorry sir" I said hesitantly.
"Miss Milson, I would like to speak to you in private" He says.
I sat on the chair feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"Do you want some tea?" he asked.
"Oh no I am okay" I said.
"Okay then I would just go straight to the point" He stood up "follow me."
I followed him. "As you can see these are all what kelvin won during the years and I believe he can do much better don't you think?" he asked.
I looked at the trophies. "Wow" I wanted to touch it but he smacked my hand away.
"Concentrate!, I am trying to pass a message across"
I rubbed my hand "anyway... What I am trying to say is that, Kelvin could do better if you actually stop distracting him or don't you want him to improve?"
"Sir I don't think I am distracting him, we have been friends ever since we were young, sometimes I think he just feels like doing something different from what he normally does" I said.
"I understand but kelvin gotten a bit obsessed with you" he says making me frown
What in the world is he talking about?
"By the look on your face I can tell you haven't noticed it yet and you say you have been friends for long, you didn't even notice him developing feelings for you" He said, making me flinch.
"You-you are lying!" How would he know that he is hardly ever around?
"Or maybe you knew but you don't want to believe it, well if you don't believe me here" He gave me some pictures and a piece of paper.
I wasn't really surprised by the pictures of me. It was the paper that actually shocked me. I was a drawing of us kissing.
How did he even get this?
I closed it "well I guess it's normal for someone to have a crush, it still doesn't change anything" I said.
I never actually knew he had feelings for me. Maybe I shouldn't have told him about Felix, I must have hurt his feelings without knowing.
He signed in annoyance. "I guess you are too dumb to understand..." he said, making me annoyed.
"... Kelvin would find it difficult to improve and do other things if he is too stuck with you, and that would not just affect him but also affect your friendship in the future" He says.

"You took too long just to get your phone" Kelvin said, putting the last popcorn in his mouth.
"Aww don't tell me you finished all the popcorn" I whined.
"I told you too long, what were you doing?" He asked.
"um nothing, sorry for taking too long" I said sitting beside him. He raised an eyebrow at me.
"You are lucky I am patient" he rewinds the movie with the remote.
I couldn't really help but keep thinking about what his dad said as we were watching the movie
Maybe he is kind of right, he would do whatever I told him to do and he didn't even bother making other friends and this started five years ago.
Wait a sec does that mean he has feelings for me for that long?
I put my hands on my face I am such a bad friend how come I didn't notice and he still helped me out when I asked him to help me talk to Felix, but I don't really see him more than a friend, I guess he should learn to do without me maybe he would be better, or even happier, his dad is right maybe I am just drawing him back.
"Alex are you okay?" He asked, looking worried.
"I am fine" I look anywhere but him.
He used his hand to make me look at him "Are you still thinking about him?" He asked, looking sad.
Tears began slip through my face I hugged him "I am sorry Kelvin, I didn't know, I am a terrible friend"
"Terrible friend? What are you talking about?" I just hugged him.
I am sorry Kelvin but maybe you don't need me anymore.

After we watched the movie, he helped me with my homework then we played video games when we heard a knock on the door. "Kelvin it's time for you to go to bed" I heard Janise say.
Janise is the housekeeper and she has been working here for years.
I look over at her "Oh hello Alexandra it's been a while how have you been?"
I smiled "I am fine I-"
"You lost!" Kelvin shouted.
"Aww that's not fair I got distracted" I whined.
"Oops sorry for disturbing you guys, but you guys should go to bed before Mrs Amanda gets back" She says
"Ok will do thanks Janise" I said, then waved at me before leaving.
"It's been a long time since I have seen her" I said.
"Yep that's because you hardly come here" He said then stood up. I was secretly banned from coming here but I guess he doesn't know that.
He took his clothes and went to the bathroom.
I guess I will have to sleep on the floor then.
I got out the extra sleeping bag and place it on the floor
beside the bed.
I am happy it's still here. I signed Some of my things that aren't here because I didn't know we were going to sleep over today so I would just borrow some of his clothes. I am sure he wouldn't mind then I will wash it and return it later on.
I just wore an oversize shirt and lay on my sleeping bag and started surfing the net. I heard him come out from the bathroom.
"Sorry Kelvin, I borrowed your clothes, I hope you don't mind" I looked up to see he wasn't wearing a shirt and his hair was let down, I closed my eyes. "Dude why aren't you wearing a shirt?" I asked.
"But I normally sleep like this" he says, then laid on his bed.
It's a good thing I decided to stay on the floor.
"Alex remembers you owe me" he said all of a sudden.
I was actually hoping he forgot
"Oh yes I remembered but it's a bit-"
"You said you would do whatever I wanted for a week" he said, cutting me off.
I am not looking at him but I can tell he has a smirk on his face.
I signed "What do you want?" I asked.
"Come stay with me"
