Fortune favors prepared mind

Fortune favors prepared mind ; this phrase is attributed to 19th-century French Microbiologist Louis Pasteur.During an 1854 lecture at the University of Lille, French microbiologist and chemist Louis Pasteur said, “In the fields of observation, chance favors only the prepared mind.”By this, he meant that sudden flashes of insight don't just happen, but are the product of preparation.Louis Pastuer’s worked on immunology and Alexander Flemming’s worked on antibiotic Penicillin. However, as Pasteur pointed out the opportunities granted by chance are only harvested by a prepared mind. Years of training, dedication, and even failure are necessary to prepare the human mind.

Louis Pasteur (December 27, 1822 - September 28, 1895) was a French chemist and microbiologist renowned for his discoveries of the principles of vaccination, microbial fermentation and Pasteurization.
During the mid- to late 19th century Louis Pasteur demonstrated that microorganisms cause disease and discovered how to make vaccines from weakened, or attenuated, microbes. He developed the earliest vaccines against fowl cholera, anthrax, and rabies.
Pasteur's first vaccine discovery was in 1879, with a disease called chicken cholera. After accidentally exposing chickens to the attenuated form of a culture, he demonstrated that they became resistant to the actual virus causing chicken cholera.

Luck or chance or fortune, favors the bold, brave, strong and prepared. You plan in order to prepare yourself for the unexpected. To prepare, one must first plan. The better your plan, the better you can prepare; the better you prepare, the better your chances of success.
It's a cliché, but it's true: luck favours the prepared.A cliché is basically a phrase or a sentence that is very similar to an idiom or a piece of American or English slang.

If you want to be successful, you need to put in the work ahead of time and make sure you're ready for whatever opportunity comes your way.

“Luck Is what happens when preparation meets an opportunity". This quote, attributed to Roman philosopher Seneca, reminds us that we make our own luck.Lucius Annaeus Seneca the Younger, usually known as Seneca, was a Roman Stoic philosopher, statesman, dramatist, and, in one work, satirist, from the post-Augustan age of Latin literature. Seneca was born in Córdoba in Hispania, and raised in Rome, where he was trained in rhetoric and philosophy.

The difference between lucky and unlucky people, we've seen before, is all in our perspective.
Famous Scientist Alexander Graham Bell said preparation is the key to success.
“Before anything else, preparation is the key to success” – Alexander Graham Bell.
Alexander Graham Bell ( born Alexander Bell; March 3, 1847 – died August 2, 1922) was a Scottish-born inventor, scientist and engineer who is credited with patenting the first practical telephone. He also co-founded the American Telephone and Telegraph Company (AT&T) in 1885.
Opportunities help you achieve your goals faster.
These opportunities will allow you to follow certain paths which lead towards achieving your dreams and goals. If we want what's best for our careers then taking an opportunity is necessary.
Prepare yourself to meet fortune.
