The reunion of Alok and Nisha-Part 24

"I had always been in love with you, saar. But, only with you although you turned me down. So, I never married. Dhushyanth Saxena I was talking about the other day.... was made up. Alok beta is my adopted son. I raised him as a single unmarried mother."

"Oh, I see! Alok beta is lucky to have a loving mom like you...", said Dr.Alok, wiping his tears as the scene of his mother feeding him lunch back in his twenties, flashed in front of his eyes. "Mom, I miss you. Please forgive me", he thought. He faked a smile, diverting, "By the way, sexy lie, medam! I knew beforehand that you were unmarried. I doubted Alok beta's shocking reactions about his fake father the other day although I didn't show it out at once...Sexy!"

She laughed, requesting, "I'm sorry I had to lie...Don't cause problems in college that my son is adopted, although it's in their official records. I didn't want my boyfriend to know..." She blushed, slamming her forehead, as he caught her cute reference. They chuckled again over it. He assured, "Medam, Alok beta is my responsibility too from now onwards. I'm like his father. So, don't you worry!"

"Enough of lies, saar. No more of them. Promise?", she asked. He agreed but apologized within his mind, "No, Nisha, I can't tell you about Ayush for I'm scared if you would leave me, a rude father after learning how I treated my little son. I can't lose my true love after twenty-eight years...I love you, Nisha medam."

"Good that both my Aloks get along well. Beta too accepted you!", she announced. Dr.Alok closed his fist and raised his hand at the sky. "Yes!Yes!", he cheered. "I love you, Nisha medam!", he screamed his heart out. "No way, saar! My love is more than yours, I am sure", said she. While he shrugged, she screamed to the fullest of her volume, "I love you, Alok saar!"

"Mom, control!", suggested her son, knocking on her door loudly. He blushed and walked away after taking the tray left behind on the table outside Nisha's room. Nisha chuckled. "I feel like standing on top of India Gate and screaming over the mike..." She brought the phone closer and squealed, "I love you, Alok saar! Dr.Alok is mine, at last, today!!"

"Sexy!", he exclaimed, accompanied by a round of laughter. "Public will ring the nearest mental asylum then!"

"Let them call!", acknowledged Nisha. "Yes, saar. I am mad in love with my Alok saar! Is it troublesome?" She closed her eyes and shot an arrow of kisses on the screen. Dr.Alok nodded, blushing and bringing the mobile close to his heart which then gained more momentum.

"Hello! Nisha medam, where did you go? Nisha medam?", wondered he, on the call being cut, suddenly. "What happened to her?", thought he, ringing her up. "Why isn't she picking up?"

May it be a second, a minute, an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year, a couple of years, or even throughout one's life, relishing the most beautiful feeling on Earth-the love, it still matters.
While most couples are almost near the silver jubilee of their wedding anniversary, Alok and Nisha are just about to begin their love life!
Love at any age is love. Why not a middle-aged love story?!

On the other hand, Nisha too tried ringing him up over and over. "Busy! Busy! Whom is he so busily talking to? My fault....", she blamed herself. She then blushed, as her eyes went over her mom's phone lying on the bed. "Oh! I see!", dragged she, grabbing it. "Perhaps, Alok saar too is trying to reach me simultaneously." She chuckled as she saw his number on her phone and called him from her mom's.

"Alloo!", greeted Dr.Alok, at which Nisha burst a round of laughter, as she began walking towards the dressing table. "Sexy! Did our communication lines get engrossed with each other itself?", asked he. She burst another round of laughter and nodded to herself, as she fell back on the bed again. Dr.Alok too closed his eyes and laughed along.

"What a feeling, medam!", he commented. She nodded, highlighting, "Saar, I am serious...I have never felt this way ever before. I have seriously longed enough for our closeness. It's incredible to infer the beauty of Alisha's ionic bond! I badly wished to be showered with your love. When I finally won it, I can't believe that it's beautiful far beyond my expectations."

"Alisha? Who is it?...", enquired Alok, narrowing his grin and shrugging. "Alok saar plus Nisha medam forms Alisha. Hahaha!", answered Nisha, blushing and chuckling along. Alok sighed, commenting, "Yes yes, medam. Alisha's love story will be one of the most beautiful ones ever in the history of happy romance!" They shared another round of laughter.

"Now do I realize that I have only loved a woman all my life and it's you, my Nisha medam", revealed Dr.Alok, walking towards the opposite wall of the balcony. "My pulse never bet with an unexplainable rhythm mixed with nervousness and happiness as it's now, even for Payal. Perhaps, she was a mere illusion that I mistook to be love. Love is a deep emotion and doesn't end with a mere infatuation. You made me realize it when I fell for you years ago, sometime after Payal's true colors were exposed."

As he wiped a tear, she blushed and sighed. "By the way, why did you cut the call suddenly?", he asked. "Saar, I'm so sorry. I was kissing you when the call cut...Do you remember?", she asked, at which he shrank his eyes and nodded. She touched her forehead with her left hand. She closed her eyes and blushed, reasoning, "As I was kissing you on the mobile's screen,..."

"Did Alok beta come? Fuck!", guessed he, interrupting her. "No!", she refused, shaking her hand and clarifying, "Wait, let me finish...I smooched on the red button at the bottom of the screen...I didn't realize!"

"Sexy! Medam, yes yes, you love me more than how much I love you!", he justified. Cute shades of pink appeared further on Nisha's cheeks. "Next time, keep your lip above the screen and not fully upon it...Understood?", asked he. She nodded and closed her eyes. She brought her mobile closer to her lips. She kissed in the air. Alok closed his eyes as soon as her lovely kiss knocked his eardrum.

"Sahab, dinner is ready", informed Sarla, standing by the stairs. He nodded and gestured for her to leave. She smiled and left. "Nisha medam, did you have dinner?", the professor enquired his beloved. "Not yet. But, I guess my family's party itself sufficed my hunger!", she shared. "Saar, you go and eat. It's very important to have food on time. Bye!", she concluded. He sighed.

"Sexy! You are already being like my wife!...", he commented. "Why not? Anyways, I will marry you soon. I won't miss you, see!", replied she, getting up from her bed and walking towards the door. She rested her back on the door. He, chuckling, rushed downstairs. "Yes yes!", he agreed. They hung up.

"Oops! Only a five percent!", Nisha noticed her mobile going dimmer. She grabbed the earphone from the study table behind. She tried to plug it into the socket! She yelled, complaining, "Why isn't my charger working? I bought it the last Friday and it's already tired of serving me!" She threw the earphone only for it to fall on Raftaar's feet. He picked it up and smiled at his friend raising her eyebrows at her phone.

"Oho Nisha Ji!", he exclaimed, walking towards her. He shrugged, asking, "When did the usage of poor earphones get extended to that of chargers?!" Nisha slammed her forehead. She closed her eyes and blushed as tears of laughter flew like streams from Raftaar's eyes. She grabbed her earphones back from him and threw them on her bed. "Lost in love?", he enquired. She nodded, attempting to narrow her smile.

Raftaar gestured a thumbs-up. He sat on her dressing chair. "I want to tell you something important regarding Dr.Alok...", he began.

"What's the matter, dude?", she enquired curiously. She sat on her bed while he continued, "Don't feel bad. But, all of these sound very quick. Think about it. All of a sudden, he proposed to you! To date, he kept mentioning that he lived with Payal..." Nisha's eyeballs rolled hither and thither as she nodded. Raftaar advised, "So, I would suggest you not to believe him blindly. It's better you go and confirm once...I'm sorry if I'm wrong but I'm just being sensible, I feel. I wanted to share what ran into my mind. Up to you, Nisha Ji!"

"Correct, Raftaar. Don't be sorry. Your point of view must be thought about", Nisha agreed. Raftaar smiled and nodded. "I need to inquire for myself. It's better to be safe rather than sorry."

The next evening, Nisha parked her car outside Dr.Alok's house. She got down and pushed the two doors of the bell-shaped black gate with a golden border. She wore a light green Kurti on dark blue jeans. Her white pearl necklace and white rhombus-shaped eardrops glittered with the incidence of the setting sun's beam. She smiled, gazing at the side-view of his three-storeyed house. She walked to cross the empty veranda outside where Dr.Alok usually parked his car.

"It's the first time I'm visiting my man's house!", she reminded herself, as soon as she reached the doorstep. She blushed, setting her right foot inside cautiously. She looked around to observe the dining table on the left, the staircase, and the kitchen juxtaposed to the balcony on the right.

She let her fingers through her hair till the hip, falling on both sides on the front, as she looked upstairs to see the rightmost balcony isolated and three bedrooms in a line. She walked inside and joined her hands on spotting the big family photo hung on the arch separating the drawing hall from the staircases with a chiming golden frame. Young Dr.Alok stood beside his elder brother both of whom posed formally behind their parents sitting on the couch.

"I'm delighted to feel your love, saar. But, don't you dare play any dirty games with me!", Nisha whispered, warning the young boy with a long and thin nose and in a white shirt in the photo. The silver stone on her white eardrops didn't sound artificial as it oscillated along while she looked hither and thither. "Where is Payal's photo? How come there isn't any?", wondered she, gazing upstairs too.

"Hey! Who are you? What are you doing in Sahab's house?", shouted a young commanding female voice from behind.

Wait, is Dr.Alok playing with Nisha?!
