There is a question if women should be courageous in public revealing their bodies and be confident with it or not. From my point of view, it is totally up to their choice. Definitely, they have the freedom to go out in public revealing all their body parts. Now, will they be comfortable while revealing themselves, I don’t think so? I don’t claim myself as a feminist or either a male chauvinist. I prefer myself as a very ordinary human being. It can confirm that I am also one of those males who like women in revealing clothes. So, I can affirm that I am no protagonist, but rather an antagonist in this male chauvinist world.
But, if I change my views from being a male to what is happening in the process, is that women are not showing their independence. They are showing that they have submitted to the needs of the male dominant society. The term courage doesn’t need a woman to wear tight revealing clothes, wear high heels, or wax their body hair. No male has to do the same to demonstrate their courage, I barely shave my face once every week. When I can go on for weeks without shaving because I feel bored of doing it.
So, if I think of women who go through the process of waxing day in and day out is pretty scary to me. This is also the case for tight dresses. I am really uncomfortable wearing those, but when I see a woman doing the same, it is really pleasing to my eyes. No matter how beautiful the woman is, the men gaze through their clothes instead of looking at the wonderful face the god has given her.
However, it is the choice of those so-called independent women. Because throughout every generation women were suppressed by men through various tactics. One of them is wearing a tight vest from Chest to hips. They all literally suffocated in those or feet altering foot bindings used for altering their feet. Those foot bindings were known as “Lotus Feet”.
If you think of the modern days, all the TV shows, show that women need to maintain a particular size to make their spouses happy, and doing all those work-outs and achieving a zero figure is the very essence of this manipulation. The main purpose of the society is the same as before, manipulating women to submit to the desires of society.
From my point of view, why can’t women wear loose comfortable clothes and still be appreciated for their wonderful beauty, why do any women need to be called hot instead of being called smart and independent? If you ask me, I even don’t agree with women having long hair. They can keep their hair as much as they like. Even be bold in the hot summer. If a man can do it, why can’t they?
I believe every woman has equal rights as any man. And like all males, they can portray themselves as strong and independent instead of being the fantasy figure in this male dominant world.
