when the children smile at the sky,
the land of festival brings many,
many festival with sun's rays.
a festival mood fills up by the air,
the kites bring joy to children and make them smile,
the sweet humming of children makes everyone happy,
their desire to bite the kite makes festival sacred.
but children of bird wants to join the joy ,
they also want to touch those kites,
his sister wants t fly a kite with her brother ,
but she is unable,
if she touches that kite......

Basically,This poem is based on makar sankranti festival. This festival is celebrated on the Uttarayan of the sun. It is considered as the festival of kites.But the children of a bird look at these kites with curiosity. Just as humans are happy by flying kites, in the same way they also want to fly kites. जब आकाश आनंद से आच्छादित हो,
जब बच्चे आसमान पर मुस्कुराते हैं,
त्योहार की भूमि लाती है,
सूरज की किरणों के साथ कई त्योहार।
त्योहार का मूड हवा से भर जाता है,
पतंगें बच्चों के लिए खुशी लाती हैं और उन्हें मुस्कुराती हैं,
बच्चों की मीठी गुंजन सबको भा जाती है,
पतंग काटने की उनकी इच्छा त्योहार को पवित्र बनाती है।
लेकिन चिड़ियों के बच्चे खुशी में शामिल होना चाहते हैं,
वो भी उन पतंगों को छूना चाहते हैं,
उसकी बहन अपने भाई के साथ पतंग नहीं उड़ाना चाहती,
पर वो असमर्थ है,
अगर वो उस पतंग को छू ले...

मूल रूप से यह कविता मकर संक्रांति पर्व पर आधारित है। यह पर्व सूर्य के उत्तरायण को मनाया जाता है। इसे पतंगों का त्योहार माना जाता है। लेकिन एक पक्षी के बच्चे इन पतंगों को उत्सुकता से देखते हैं। जिस प्रकार मनुष्य पतंग उड़ाने से प्रसन्न होता है, उसी प्रकार वह भी पतंग उड़ाना चाहता है। लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि अगर वो पतंग को छूने की कोशिश करें तो......
