The story revolves around Kanishk, a boy who is in his teens. He is fond of reading novels and often spends his time in the library. Whenever he is there, he used to immerse himself in his book, but one day his eyes fell on a girl and what will happen next is about to change his life.
He passed his matriculation (10th) from a very small town.
He was smart in studies. So, like every parent, his parents also asked him to prepare for IITs. For this, they decided to send him to Kota, despite of the fact that Kanishk didn't want to go there.
They had laid his future on the foundation of their thinking.
Kanishk wants to be a writer, a writer known to the whole world. He used to read a lot of novels to improve his writings, which also became his hobby over time.
Along with being smart in studies, he is also the ideal son of his parents. That's why without saying anything, he crushed his dream and left for Kota to become an IITian.
Kanishk was ready to fight such a war, no matter what the outcome would be, he was going to be defeated.
"Have you packed all your belongings?", a sweet voice emerged from outdoors.
"Yes mom, it's all done", he turned back and replied.
"Look Kanishk, you know that we want your well being!", his mother comforted.
"Yes, I know, Maa."
"We also don't want to take you away from us but it's about your future, my son.
After 10 years, when you see yourself as a successful person, you will be very happy on our decision."
Kanishk's mother was fulfilling the duty of being his mother. She knew that her son needed some courage and motivation, and who would have a better experience than a mother in this?
Even after growing up from childhood, when we are in some difficult river, then the words of a mother act like a boat, sitting on which we can cross any difficulty.
An arrow that can end any trouble.
Kanishk didn't say anything, just nodded his head.
His mother hugged him tightly and said, "Just take care of yourself, my son, we are always with you."
"The taxi has arrived", his father called in a loud voice.
"Coming", he replied in disquiet.
The frightened boy was moving his feet one by one with his light steps. His mother was walking behind him as his support. Both were coming down the stairs. There was a distinct silence during this period.
Kanishk's eyes fell on his father as soon as he reached down. His father was looking happy from outside but somewhere he was probably scared! Looking at his eyes, it seemed that he was trying to say something but he was silent.
Usually, in India, there are millions of fathers like him who can't express their feelings to their children and suppress their emotions, unlike mothers, who openly express their feelings to their children.
That's why children are more emotionally attached to their mothers than to their fathers.
"Are you ready to go?", asked his father.
"Yes, dad", said in a low voice.
"Well, then we should leave now. Say goodbye to your mother. And I will go to the station with you."
He hugged his mother again and went to the station with his father in the taxi. The train arrived at the station on time.
You must have guessed that at least his father would have expressed his feeling after the train arrived at the station! But no, he was standing still, just smiling.
Kanishk touched his father's feet, took his blessings and sat on the train.
The train slowly started on its way and it was now about to take Kanishk to his destination.
A destination that was about to change his life.
