They are now 13, in grade 8. Emily became the popular kid in school while Nahomi became the nerd and tomboy in school.
Now which after school club would you like to join Nahomi asked Emily. I would like ballet, singing club and art what about you? well I would choose martial art, Dancing and singing what do you think? Said Nahomi.
Its ok but when you learn martial art don’t go breaking someone head Emily said. They both laughed at her joke before they entered the class.
Although they are in the same class they don’t sit together. That is because Nahomi likes to stay at the back and Emily stays at the front.
Hand over your books everyone it’s time for test the teacher said. Everyone was taken by surprise they were all murmuring to themselves. But Nahomi was always prepared for test.
The teacher went round to share the papers and said you guys have 45 minutes to finish time starts now.
They all started sweating while Nahomi wrote until 20minutes. Teacher I have finished she said.
Teacher was surprised. Go through it again he said. Teacher I have gone through it three times now. Ok drop it on my desk he said. She did it and went to her sit.
25 minutes later…….
Hands up submit your work the teacher said. They all left and drop their papers on his desk. The bell rang for break time.
They were all relived and went out of the class while their teacher marks their test papers. Nahomi you have to teach me your secrete I heard my heart beat so fast I thought it was going to come out of my chest Emily said.
They both laughed at her joke but seriously how did you do it. Men how else do you want me to do it. I just read my book. If you had just listened to me when I asked you to join me instead of painting your nails and doing your hair every time, when I was reading I am sure you wouldn’t have any excuse to pass this test.
Emily frowned a little; well it is not my fault this nails and hair are always looking a bit off. Nahomi shook her head. A group of girls was passing. Hey Emily do you want to join us we are having a make-up party in my house today Maya said. Maya, Lara and Lucy are Emily best friends but Maya do not really like Nahomi always look for a way to take steal Emily when she sees them together.
Really, Emily asked excited. Yes come let us discuss about it she said Nahomi you can join us if you want said Emily. Nah make up is not my thing you guys go I would be here by this side of the table if you need me she said with a smile.
The went to the other table with Emily. Maya turn to her and eyed her up to down. Nahomi raised one eye brow and said to herself. Men what’s her problem?
