The Fourth Metal
After two days of fun filled diwali break we were back with full zest and enthusiasm to continue with our left mission. As pre decided we all were at the school gate at 7:30 P.M.
We saw the front gate of our school closed so we decided to climb up.We thought to send Sujal and Ansh first as we didn’t want to all end up in getting caught by the security guard. They would give a signal to us if we should come or not. Sujal and Ansh started climbing up the gate.We waited 5 mins for a signal but we didn’t!I felt the danger near us.I thought they were trapped,we should go to the other side of the gate.I whispered”Guys,I think they are in some danger.I can feel it.Let’s go the other side.” We started climbing up the gate.When we reached there,we saw a deep pit near the mango tree. I had never seen this hole ever before.I said”My gut feeling says that the hole was created by the monster and both Ansh and Sujal are there inside.They might have fallen down.” Sparsh said”But we didn’t even hear them shout! Something’s fishy... We quickly climbed up the gate and reached near the hole.I said, Let’s jump in!” Ritvik said”But we could get hurt!” I said”Then I am going down.You all can stay here and wait.” Sparsh said”No! I am coming with you! Ritvik,you stay here and alert us if somebody comes.Okay?” “Okay said Ritwik. I took a deep breath,gathered all my confidence and jumped in. Sparsh took his leg forward and then backward as he was so scared.He Did the same around 20 odd times and then finally jumped in..He soon landed above me! Oh! my back! I screamed”Oww!” But Sparsh didn’t ‘cause he landed safely on my back. Just then we heard Sujal’s voice”Is there a fox here?” Ansh said”Why?” “Because I just heard the sound what fox makes.” “Oww!” Typical to Sujal he was chattering away in the monster pit.” Then we saw the Curse Monster growling at them because they were blabbering so much!’He must have got a headache like us when Sujal keeps non stop chattering. Sparsh and I got up and went towards them.That monster turned.Just then we heard a loud ‘thud’!It was Ritvik’s!” Ritvik shouted”Ow!” Sujal screamed”This is a nightmare!One monster and two foxes!” That monster ran towards us.He first tried to catch me but I escaped between both his hands and reached Sujal and Ansh and I signalled Sparsh to get out of the hole with Ritvik. I untied the rope with which Ansh and Sujal were tied and tried to escape as fast as possible with them.The monster unfortunately caught me but left them alone.I was happy and sad.Happy because all my friends were free and sad because I was going to become a dinner for a crazy monster.Just when that monster took me near his mouth(Eww..It was disgusting.Smelly salivas coming out and also when he licked his lips,saliva was spit over me.Gross!He also belched loudly!I am happy that they went out so much now!) ;Sparsh jumped in the hole and directly sat on it’s head.He started pulling his face up and down.I said”Hey.Thanks a lot.This is the second time you saved my life!” “My pleasure.Now please help me handle this.” I jumped and kicked it on the monster’s face and he lost his balance and fell down.Sparsh and myself dashed to get out of the hole. When we came outside,I asked Ritvik``Why did you jump down?” you were supposed to stay guard outside the pit“:Because there was a cat running behind me!It was good as it didn’t jump in following me! We then carefully went ahead as we didn’t want to fall in the hole again.We stealthily went into the school.It was 1 hour and their meeting was still going on! We heard our teachers talking to organise sports competition.Seriously?It is such an easy decision! We then heard they were not only talking about the sport competitions but which all competitions that were going to happen that whole year. Well,for the sports, it is obvious that the best choice is football! We then reached the Vice Principal's room. She was sitting there watching them and taking notes. I whispered" You all put the Davidoff,right?" Everyone nodded except Ritvik. He said"My mom didn't have that one!" I said"Then you could have come over my place! My mom had it!" Ritvik said'' And also I didn't want to lie to my parents anymore!" We slammed our hands on our face. I whispered"You have to stay outside." "No! I am scared of ghosts!" We couldn't do anything so we allowed him to come with us. We came in,baby crawling. She then said to herself" I can smell something like mud." We totally forgot that we were in mud! We were in big big trouble.
We searched everywhere for the platinum but couldn't find it. The only place where it left was her drawer. Luckily,her drawers were open with the keys dangling. We crawled slowly near the drawer. Our Vice Principal was very sensitive. We opened the door slowly. She heard a creak. She looked down but saw nothing. I had gone behind the table in the nick of the time.Also, I had put my t-shirt high above me covering my face so that even if she sees me,she will think I am a ghost. (Well,probably. Someone is acting like a ghost.” She was just going to pull my t-shirt below my head when my best friends came near her duck walking with their faces covered with t shirt.They duck waked as they knew that ghosts do not have legs(Well,some have legs but the most scary and common is like they were doing).She jumped and ran outside.She went to our teachers and shouted”Ghosts!Ghosts!” One of them said”Ghosts?” “Ghosts!” “Where are ghosts?There are no ghosts!” “There are!Now stop arguing and run!” We laughed in the Vice Principal’s room.How could she possibly believe in ghosts so quickly?I then grabbed the platinum and ran.The platinum was shining very brightly.It was so much precious.I took out the note where the pics were there and put a tick mark on Vice Principal's room pic.Ritvik was jumping to see the platinum.When I handed it to him,he hugged it like it was a soft and cute teddy bear and said”Oh….How I wished to see this!Oh my god!”He started jumping”I can’t believe it!It is in my hands!I am so lucky!”Ansh took us far from Ritvik and whispered”He is laughing and jumping so much that he forgot he had got hurt.We are here keeping our hands on our back and chest because we got so much hurt!”Everyone laughed listening to Ansh's statement!
