The Bronze Medal
The next day,we all directly came to the school at night.We waved our hands to say hi.I showed them the note by showing light from the torch on it.The next picture was of class 1-A.We all saw the pic carefully and really focused.There was no clue in the picture as in where we can exactly find the bronze metal.We couldn’t feel anyone around us..I gave them the go ahead sign.We all were crouching like we were some sort of thieves.We reached inside the school.We were just going to push the door of the class 1-A when we heard some footsteps.We all turned around and saw it was the security guard!Ritvik said”Ummm….Hello!”The guard said”What are you all doing in the school so late!”Ritvik said”Mmm…Uncle,our house’s washroom doors were locked so we went out and thought to pee , but then we thought we need to keep our mother Earth clean.So we came inside the school to pee.We were just going to the washroom.”Guard said”OK, but never ever try to break in the school again!”We said”Ok.”Then he went away.We all sighed.Sparsh whispered”What an amazing excuse,ha,ha,ha!”We all opened the door of the class and went in.I signalled Sparsh and Sujal to look everywhere near the pigeon holes,Ritvik and Arnav to look everywhere near the black board and Ansh and I splitted into two.Ansh went left and I went right.Caw Caw...we were startled...crow at this time that to here!! Sujal whispered it's the same crow which we see everyday on the tree outside our school gate. And look said Sujal, ”The bronze is in the beak of the crow!!” How do we get that? If it flies away with it?
Arnav took out some snacks which he always carries.He threw the Lays,salty chips flavour to Sujal.Sujal tore the packet quickly,crunched the chips and gave it to the crow.The hungry crow left the bronze and started eating the chips.Arnav cried”Oh no,my favourite chips is gone!”Ansh said”But we also got the third metal,right!”Sujal said”Point Ansh but then too I feel sorry for your chips . Arnav”Arnav sobbed”Sujal,you are the only one who understands my feeling.”Ritvik said”It's a bronze medal!”We all went home with our bicycle,cheering and shouting!
