Chapter 2
SD8 - The Rivals
While SKAARS came into light there was another group in the class which was gaining popularity. The captain of the group was Kunal,and the group was known as SD8.That is Street Dancer 8.They had half of the class as a part of the gang(well, almost half of the class) ! They always tried to put others down specifically us SKARS! Kunal was also the monitor of our class.Whenever our mam went for a proxy, he would monitor us. One time, our teacher, Ms Chirangi said to us"Class 3E,I am going for a proxy in Class 3C because their teacher is not well. So do not do any mischief and stay quiet. And Kunal keep an eye on the class. Is that clear??" We said" Yes mam."Kunal grinned like a fox. He said to us" You all are not going to laugh,talk or make any noise.!!" There was a pin drop silence in the class. We all did nothing. I took my water bottle and took a sip when Kunal said" Kiaan Sethi made a sound. Noted!!" I said" But Kunal,I just took a sip of water from my bottle!! You didn't say any rule that we are not allowed to drink water!!" "Mm…..Kiaan Sethi minus 5 stars!!" I was very very angry. He kept doing that to us!! I turned as red as a tomato in anger! When Ms Chirangi came back from her proxy,she said"So Kunal,who's losing how many stars?" "Maam...Only one person is losing 5 disciplinary stars - Kiaan." She gasped. She said"That is unbelievable Kiaan!!" "But mam, I just took a sip of water from my water bottle!!" "Kunal,is that true?" "No mam,he is lying!!Not only KIaan, infact his entire group was chatting in your absence!! And wait. I forgot to tell you that Kiaan's whole group also loses 5 stars too!" She said" You all and Kunal, come with me." The whole class except us started murmuring"Will they be taken to the Coordinator's room?? Will they get a loud smack from maam? Will they be detained for a few days?"
We were taken to the CCTV footage room. She saw the footage of our class.She found out that Kunal was lying! She said"Kunal,you are getting a detention for 3 days and you will no longer be our class monitor. I am proud to say that I am making a trustworthy and honest person, Kiaan, our monitor!!" We all cheered. When we went to our classroom, everyone stared at us. They didn't understand why we were so happy. Maam came to the center of our class and announced"From now on,our class monitor will be Kiaan Sethi!" We were very happy. He deserved detention. Who would ever lie to their teacher? But we were angry too!
This day also led to arch rivalry of SD8 and SKARS.
