स्वातंत्र्यवीर सावरकर आणि कुरुवंश शिरोमणी भीष्माचार्य, दोन युगपुरुष! दोघांचे व्यक्तिमत्त्व एवढे दैदीप्यमान, अलौकिक की साक्षात मूर्तिमंत त्यागाने येऊन त्यांना दंडवत प्रणाम करावा आणि त्यांच्या चरणांची धूळ आपल्या मस्तकाला लावुन धन्य व्हावें. त्यांच्या विभूतीमत्वाच्या छटा शब्दात मांडण्याचे बळ तर फक्त त्या गणराया कडेच आहे! तरी त्या गजाननाच्या वरदहस्ता मुळे धैर्य प्राप्त केलेला मी, सरस्वती मातेला वंदन करून हे अशक्य कार्य साध्य करण्याचा एक नम्र प्रयत्न करतो आहे.
"सावरकर आणि भीष्माचार्य"
भाग १
सावरकर-भीष्मांमधे मध्ये, जाणवते
सारखेच तेज ।
आभाळागत व्यक्तित्व दोघांचे, नाही
कोणता भेद ।।१।।
भीष्मांच्या ठाई नाही आहे, देशद्रोहाला
कधी थारा ।
कधीच लागला नाही तात्यारावांना,
स्वार्थाचा वारा ।।२।।
देवव्रताने ब्रह्मचर्याची कठोर प्रतिज्ञा घेतली, आणि
'भीष्माचार्य' घडले ।
सशस्त्र क्रांतीची प्रतिज्ञा घेतली आणि विनायक,
'स्वातंत्र्यवीर' ठरले ।।३।।
राजधर्म शिकवला पांडवांना, भिष्मांनी बनवले
युधिष्ठिराला श्रेष्ठ सम्राट ।
तात्यांनी "१८५७ चे स्वातंत्र्यसमर" लिहले, तोच झाली
क्रांतीपर्वाची पहाट ।।४।।
भीष्मनीतिला साक्षात, यक्ष-गंधर्व-देवांनी
केला नमस्कार ।
सावरकरवादाचा तर, सर्व क्रांतिकारकांनी
केला पुरस्कार ।।५।।
युधिष्ठिराच्य कल्याणासाठी, भीष्माचार्य
'श्रीसहस्त्रनाम' वदले ।
भारतास बलाढ्य करण्यासाठी, सावरकरांनी
'हिंदुत्व' दिधले ।।६।।
गंगा पुत्र भीष्माने शस्त्रांनी, भारताचा ध्वज
दिग्दिगंतात नेला ।
सरस्वती पुत्र विनायकाने शास्त्रांनी, हिंदुस्थान
पादाक्रांत केला ।।७।।
इच्छामृत्यूचा वरदान भीष्मांना, यमधर्म होता
त्यांच्यासमोर लाचार ।
अजिंक्य मृत्युंजयी सावरकरांसमोर, हात जोडित
मृत्यू घेतो माघार ।।८।।
अहो भाग्य देवव्रताचे देहत्याग करतांना त्यांच्या समक्ष
उभा होता, साक्षात परमात्मा ।
प्रायोपवेशन करून परब्रम्हात लीन झालेले हे विनायक
निःशंक, परायोगी महात्मा ।।९।।
सावरकर हे आजचे भीष्म आणि भीष्म हे त्याकाळचे
सावरकर होते ।
निस्वार्थ कर्तव्यनिष्ठ असे त्रिभुवनात यांच्या सारखे हे
दोघेच होते ।।१०।।
English Translation
"All Glories to the hero of Raghu clan,
Shri Ram - who is all capable"
The bravest amongst freedom fighters, Savarkar and the crown jewel of Kuru dynasty Bhishmacharya, these two legends posses a personality that is so marvellous that the 'sacrifice personified' should come and bow before them. He should take the dust from their feet and place it over his head to feel blessed! Only lord Ganpati possesses the power to express their colossal personalities in words! Still after getting the blessings from lord Ganpati and after paying my homage to mother Saraswati, I am making a humble attempt to achieve this impossible task.
"Savarkar and Bhishmacharya"
Part 1
The same glow shines through both Swatantryaveer Savarkar and Bhishma Pitamah.
Magnifence of the personality of Savarkar and Bhishma is like that of a boundless sky. (1)
Bhishma Pitamah can never ever accept treason.
Tatyarao never ever felt the wind of selfishness. (2)
Devavrata took the solemn vow of celibacy and became 'Bhishmacharya'.
Vinayak took the pledge of armed revolution and was glorified as 'Swatantryaveer'. (3)
Bhishma taught the duties of the king to all the Pandava brothers and trained Yudhisthira to become a great emperor.
Tatyarao wrote the book "The Indian war of Independence 1857" and that moment marked the dawn of revolution. (4)
Celestial beings like Gandharva, Yakshas as well as all the demigods bowed before the indelible policies of Bhishma!
All the revolutionaries regardless of their ideologies respected and promoted the Views of Savarkar! (5)
Bhishma for the welfare of Yudhishthira, who is the emperor of the earth chanted The thousand names of lord Narayan!
To strengthen this holy land of Bharat, Savarkar set forth the philosophy of Hindutva! (6)
The Son of goddess Ganga, Bhishma Conquered the far lands with the help of weapons!
The Son of goddess Saraswati, Vinayak conquered the whole Hindustan with the help of his Writings! (7)
The God of death, Yama was helpless in front of Bhishma, because Bhishma had a boon to choose the time of his death!
The Death personified steps back and prostrates before Savarkar, that very savarkar who is famous among people, as the one who has conquered 'defeat' and 'death' itself! (8)
Blessed is indeed Devavrata who left this material body in presence of Supersoul himself!
There is no doubt whatsoever about Vinayak who was a great soul and a yogi of the highest order, who merged in Supreme Brahman by the method of Prayopaveshan (9)
Savarkar is today's Bhishma and Bhishma was Savarkar of that time.
There is no one in the three worlds more selfless and more conscientious than them! (10)
