Alaska's ma's point of view:
I know it's dangerous for you out here but I had to bring you here with me so that while I find the answers for protecting you , you will be near me . "Christ! How can I have left you alone back there knowing what dangers you'll be facing"
Soon you'll be 18 and you'll have to make a choice for yourself. I don't doubt the etiquettes and values I thought you but still I hope you'll make the choice which is good.
I'm going for some business work ,I'll be back soon (maybe hours/days/weeks),don't trouble Haanah

Oh lord ! Mom why did you leave me with househelp I know she's like family to us but sometimes she gets upset very soon . Atleast you Should have told me in real instead of writing a letter that you're going.
(Writing in diary)
Dear diary,
I know seperation is the the toughest thing one can ever come to pursue in love..... Until now I've been living with a piece of my life - (my dad) missing ... After he went I felt upset , sad yet I never gave up hopes and kept myself strong but I can't anymore....it's too hard !!! I don't even know where's he , how's he ,whether he's even Alive or not but one thing I believe for sure is in God . I know he won't do anything that might upset me. Dad will be back after all he has to but till then I'll keep all my hopes high, keep the urge of seeing him again because I know that's what he would have wanted and I wouldn't disappoint him when we meet.
And there's one more thing .. suddenly I'm feeling all of my emotions are high,I'm feeling some kind of unexplainable Change, I'm having dreams which seem reality but it's enough I'll have to find the reason for this. P.s - tomorrow's my first day at the Granville national .

Writing things see went to sleep when suddenly:
(She sees darkness all around it her, locket,heart and every word that her father once taught her ....her subconscious trying to remember the Futher lines of his words but soon she's surrounded by some shadowed creatures ) she suddenly opens her eyes realising it's one of the dream she's been having lately but now she thinks it's enough of all the stupid dreams ... "I'll try to find the answers from my father's supernatural research because I know what so ever happening to me is out of nature's way ."
Here's something about remembering things by chanting something and activating the subconscious I think this will do the help. Chanting the mantras she tries to activate but just when she's about to get her answers she's disturbed by knock on the door . She opens and Hannah tells her it's time for dinner and she made her favourite baked American ratatouille with vegetables and pesto sauce. "Thanks Hannah you're the best"(I think this work can wait but my pasta won't I'll finish it first and then continue my research)
Few minutes later.....
Alaska completes the dinner and run towards her room to find the answers in book but instead she finds "stop looking for answers you young lady or you'll ending up risking the lives of your near ones and maybe even you....."
What does this note mean and how can even a stupid note stop me from getting what I want but wait u know one person who can actually help me and that is... Aunt Freya - she knows a lot about a stuff like this maybe she'll find a solution........
(Over phone)
"Aunt Freya I need your help "
"How may I help you honey?"
"I want to close my conscious mind for few minutes so that I can reach my sub conscious.....it's confidential and ma shouldn't know."
"You know Alaska I can't deny my favourite niece ...come over I'll help you"
"Thanks"
"Few moments later....."
Knock on door
"Who's it?"
"It's me - Alaska"
The door gets open immediately.
"Welcome dear "
"Now may I know the reason of you doing this?"
"I am afraid I can't answer to this question"
"Come on...you need not fear me"
"Fine it's about some weird dreams I'm getting from this pendant more likely from my past so I want to remember the words said by my father when he gave me this"
"Oh I do know about that necklace ,your father you know asked my help few years back to put a magic spell on this "
" A magic spell ...ik you're kidding me"
"No Alaska I'm serious...and now that you are grown up I should let you know I know about this things which human eye don't recognize because I'm a witch "
"A witch???????"
Alaska pauses over this and is amazed as well as shocked to hear about something she only read in stories...
"But a good one by the way in case you'll be afraid of me(giggles)...and now that you'll turn 18 you'll have many more chapters opening from your past and many more things you've just read in stories and myths to get real .....so be prepared"
"What chapters aunt Freya ?"
"You'll know when the time comes "
" I think you've gone crazy" ( I should leave this place right now)
"You'll need me Alaska...I swear I ain't lying
But Alaska wasn't ready to even acknowledge any more fact that was not connected to reality . On her way to home she kept thinking what If she's right and there are chapters ....maybe I'm overthinking..........
Just when she's about to leave the premised of Freya's house she' stopped by something...
