Next day Sunday. So it was a lazy morning. All 3 got up late in that little house.
After finishing their breakfast, Arun and Vijay were sitting in the hall, and watching TV. Anitha was in the kitchen.
"You see, Vijay! It was nice, taking rest and watching TV in a lazy Sunday morning like this. I am a blessed man to have a wonderful wife like anitha, she never ever allowed me to do a single work......" Even before Arun finished his blabbering,
Anitha handed him a bag and ordered,
" go to the meat stall, and buy 1 kg chicken, and half kg mutton"
without even waiting for the reply, anitha went inside the kitchen.
"Hey! Honey," Arun started saying something... immediately interrupted by the reply, " try to get some boneless pieces" from the kitchen.
With that look in the Arun's face, Vijay can't help, a loud Lough escaped his mouth.
"Come! Let's go, you could also learn, it will be helpful in your future", Arun started going out.
The stall was very crowded since it's a Sunday. In the stall as well as on their way home, Arun met with some of their neighbors.
They were all asking about the new comer, accompanying him.
" He is my cousin brother, a distant relative," Arun lied to them all.
When they further enquired him about the big bandage in Vijay's hand, Arun added that, "he had fallen from the 2 wheeler during the process of learning", with a wink towards Vijay.
Anitha is a great cook, as usual the food was delicious and mouth watering. She made chicken biriyani with mutton curry for the lunch, of course with the help of Arun chopping onions and peeling garlic and ginger.
On the table, when anitha put the biriyani on his plate, and Arun served him the mutton curry, Vijay tried hard to control his emotions, but failed. The tears were pooling in his eyes, even a drop escaped and rolled down his cheek.
"Nobody in my life, showed love and kindness to me, and never ever once, I had been served food like this", Vijay said in a Shakey voice.
Arun patted his back gently. All of them ate in silence for sometime. Soon he regained himself and even made a comment that the preparation was excellent.
After lunch, they took some rest. In the evening, they went out for shopping. Since Vijay didn't have any clothes to wear, they purchased some of them.
Initially he refused a lot, after both anitha and Arun's compulsion, he finally agreed. They also bought a new cell phone for him, because his old phone was crushed and discarded by his attackers.
After having dinner, they returned home. That evening was a new experience in Vijay's life.
He slept well that night after a long period.

Next day Monday, morning, Arun was busy in getting ready for his office, his mobile phone rang. It was from the constable, who took all details in the hospital. He asked Arun to come to the police station, along with Vijay immediately.
