If I am not wrong I am pretty sure, we all have grown up with horoscopes. Do you know how? Think of your childhood when you just started reading newspaper at the age of may be 13 or 14. When your parents just started pushing you to know about what’s going on throughout the world as you don’t know about anything and you are so stuck to your couch that they can’t believe how they could have given birth to such a useless piece of junk. So to regain your self-esteem you needed to show them you are as much cautious about the world as they are. But when you started reading the newspaper the first thing came to your 13 year old mind was who cares what the prime minister says or who cares what happens to Europe or America? How can these guys spend so much time reading such boring things? Your time would have spent much better if you played video games or watched a cartoon series that must never be missed at all costs. However, you need to re-gain your self-respect as you are losing your dignity day by day and by any means possible it can’t be tolerated any longer. Think carefully what you did, you went directly to the middle of the newspaper at the page where there is Media article, Cartoon column, Jokes column. So when you were finished reading those incredibly important staff and felt pretty good with yourself that now maybe you have gained that much needed self-esteem, you looked at the end corner of that page, can you remember what you saw? You saw the answer to all your problems, the only thing in this whole world worth reading, which tells the future. I don’t know much about anything, but I am quite sure that’s how anyone who ever reads horoscope got hooked to it. To know if the paper writes that you will meet someone by hazard who will be your great friend or the day will go well for you whereas you have studied nothing for that specific day’s exam. The main thing is it gives a subtle comfort to your mind. Now think about the reality, as per current stat there are about 7.8billon people living in this world who will live the same day as you are living today. So according to the horoscope methodology every 1 out of 12 people will have the same exact day as predicted which in figure would be about 650million roughly. The main fault with the system of this prediction methodology is that what will happen to the ones those die. I have never heard any horoscope say today 4% of entire cancer population will die due to various reasons. There is one favorite quote from all horoscopes that is “there will be progress in your carrier”, so what happens to the ones who don’t have a job or lost their job. How will their carrier progress?
Now when it comes to Tarot Reading it shows a variety of Cards having meanings which can only be encrypted by a Tarot reader. So your entire life, carrier, family and love is depended on the findings from 100 or so cards and you believe it because the truth is revealed by chance or in this case what cards you receive for your prediction. If chance is what you believe to be a justified method then what was wrong with the gunfight in Wild West, the one kills the fastest is the luckiest or in those cases god was on the side of the person who could draw the gun quickly. In my opinion, only a killer is experienced enough to draw guns quicker than others, so it means god was on the side of a killer.
From my point of view, the concept of believing in Horoscope and Tarot Reading is itself a vague concept. You have a much better chance of survival or triumph by believing in yourself than believing in Horoscope and Tarot Reading. And when it comes for mental comfort you can pray to God/Allah/Vagban or whoever you believe for it, because the thing you are actually looking for is positive self-esteem. So when you need to invest on chance for self comfort why putting your bet on 1 out of 650million where there is another window for 1 on 1 by praying.
