Mr. kannua (maharshi), after an eight months foreign trip, while returned to his Ashram at the forest where he was doing his Tapasia since last so many years, he understood that his one and only step daughter Shakuntala is pregnant by seven months. That after he left for his foreign tour, one handsome guy, namely Dushyanth was came there in the forest for hunting and he shakuntala happened to see each other and fell on real love each other. With love they were calling each other like Shaku and Dhushu.
Dushyanth was from the nearby City, who was the one and only son of the Chief Minister, a millionare of that City. Dushyanth wish to marry her and take her to his full fleshed Kothi at the City. Shakuntala also wish to be so, but in absence of her step father Kannua or without her father's full blessings she was not ready for the same and detailed him her situation. But dushyanth has to return immediately to his home and as such for evidence of their love Dushyanth and Shakuntala got married under Gandharva Rule by putting a flower mala each other as a witness of their Gandharva base Marriage.
Even there was no witness of their this type of marriage except shakuntala's two immediate friends-cum-care takers Anasooya and Priyamvada. Dushyanth while leaving to his home give her a pleasant gift packed in a paper cover for their sweet memmories. That was a small and beautiful mobile having full photographs of their Gandharva type marriage. He then left her and promised will return with his full team for marrying her legally with blessings of her step father Kannua Maharshi, after his return from foreign trip. From that time shakuntala was waiting for Dushyanth and she forgot everything, even for timely taking her food.
While on that period one day her Durvasa (Maharshi) uncle, who was a nearest friend of Kannua Maharshi came there, But she was sitting under a dream to wait he Dushu, neighther she has not seen Durvasa nor she entertained him. He got angry and he shouted on on her that to whom she is waiting he will forget him with immediate effect. Shakuntala heard the words and wake up immediately and expressed sorry for all that and she given him a fruit juice to drink. After drinking the Juice, her Durvasa uncle become very happy and blessed her that when she meet her lover, even he may be forgotten her, should show an identification with that he will immediately remember her.
She was originally the daughter of Maharshi Viswamithra and a foreign dancing girl Menaka. Both they could not accept baby shakuntala on her birth and they left her in the forest. When Mr. Kannua Maharshi, who was a very kind sanyasi, on the way to his Ashram got this baby and took her with him to his Ashram where she grown under his love and care as a father at his Ashram.
Now on arrival from his foreign trip Kannua was upset by hearing her pregnancy but he didn't got anger on his daughter. He thought what to do ? should I send an invitation is send to Mr.Dushyanth to visit us to detail him about the pregnancy ? If he denied to take her that will be very shame to me and the Sanyaasi group. Finaly he decided to send her to Dushyanth because that is her choice to marry him. Let her go to him and let them live there. The next day Shakuntala got ready by having full makeup and become most beatiful. She started her journey in the imported Impala car gifted by Kannua driven by her driver-cum- personal secretary Raju. Anasooya and priyamvada has also accompanied Shakuntala. Also two other labour ladies accompanied them having baskets of fruits to gift Dushyanth's parents.
They started their journey. On the way Shakuntala was fully happy that she is going to meet her love Dushu. She was singing with her friends anasooya and priyamvada in the car with full joy..
But, In these period after death of his father, Dushyanth become the Chief Minister, a fully busy man. In this stage will he welcome her as his wife. Don’t know…
