Everybody knows that the president and founder of the company is a man of strict principles.
It’s true no one can recall if he has ever been rude or even yelled to anyone. But there is no arguing about one fact, that when he takes any decision, no matter what the scenario is it will never change.
He truly is a stand out persona in this modern era.
His exemplary character and devotion have made the impossible possible.
He turned a grudge into a Billion Dollar company having branches throughout the Globe.
Today is a big day for the company.
Mike, the CEO of the company believes that this is the day when his company reaches its ultimate milestone.
He can feel it in his bones. For the past three years, he and his team have worked round the clock for this precise moment.
Every employee under his team had to work for 16hours day in, day out to achieve this outstanding goal.
It’s 9:45am. The meeting was supposed to start at 10:00am.
But everybody in the board has been present since 9:30am. Mike looks at his watch and then to the President.
The President seemed a bit hesitant, but even though he nods towards Mike to start the meeting.
He understands how big of a deal this is to Mike. He literally gave everything for this project.
Mike stands up from his chair in front of the board slowly in his similar gesture, but with a broad smile in his face. He seemed very calm, but everyone could see the spark in his eyes.
The same kind of spark that a magician has just before showing his greatest magic.
He starts
“Thanks Luke for letting me speak ahead of our scheduled time and thank you all for making time in your hectic schedule to be present in this meeting.”
He stops for a bit and takes a sip of water from his water bottle.
He took the break willingly to notice how excited the board was about his new project and it felt quite good when he saw everyone was eagerly looking towards him.
He takes his Mobile Phone out of his pocket and puts it on the table.
“How do you feel about this small piece of equipment? Why is this so important?
If I am not wrong you would probably think have I gone nuts?
Who doesn’t know how important this is?
What doesn’t this do?
This little thing can literally bring all the knowledge of the world to our hands.
All our contacts, our documents, even our memories are stored in this small device.
Also there are various Social Networks, Media Networks, Company Websites, News Networks and what not to make us connected globally.
This actually made the biggest breakthrough for human business, banking, connecting and sharing.
What don’t we share with this?
Money, product, knowledge, memories, everything and we do it from wherever we like, whenever we like.
It’s like the Jinni’s Magic lamp, but capable of fulfilling infinite wishes with the touch of a click.”
He paused and then again started
“Have you really thought actually how did we come to be so much dependent in this small device?
I think we all know the answer.
It all began with social networking.
Following which came the era of video sharing and video connecting.
Now look at us, we are so desperate to share our thoughts that the biggest business of modern times is the networking business. Each and every website certainly has one social networking option.
But my friends the real question is, are we really connected?
Does our closed ones really feel what we actually feel?
Can you feel how excited or scared I am in front of this board at this precise moment?
Can anyone feel how Jenny is feeling right now having her Cappuccino in that wonderful looking cup?”
Jenny was sitting at the back of the table. She felt a bit embarrassed and stopped taking the sip from her cup.
Both Jenny and Mike smiled at each other.
Mike continued
“Now think of a world where you don’t need to speak.
Where no one needs to imitate or even be embarrassed as Jenny was right now?
Or think of our working environment where you try to explain an issue to your assistant and you simply get the opposite result.
If I am not wrong I think we all have this particular experience at least once or twice daily.
I believe we all have dreamed of such a world where one really can feel the other’s emotions and not just assume it.
So we are bringing to you “Neucon” a worldwide Neural Connection Network.
‘Where no one will never feel alone’
The only thing you need to wear is these spectacles.”
He removes the fancy looking glasses that he was wearing and puts it on the table.
Each and everybody was really shocked at that moment.
No one could really believe that within only three years he has created such an unthinkable thing possible.
He starts again
“We have 86billion neurons in our brains among which most of us are capable of utilizing 5% to 10% for productive thinking.
And as you already know 99% of the whole population spend their entire lives in following others without contributing a single effort to develop himself or even the world.
Now what this will actually do is, it will make the 8billion people living in this world connect neurally with one another.
Everyone sharing their entire knowledge along with their entire experiences and their feelings thoroughly.
So think of a world where everybody understands you.
Everybody is connected with everybody, making everyone’s dreams into reality.
If human mind is the most sophisticated device there is than think of the device which is 8billion times more powerful than the existing one united for the development of the world.”
He stops for taking another sip from his water bottle.
But this time Luke sees directly towards his eyes and says
“The glasses that you were wearing is that really capable of doing those things.
If that is so then this gadget is capable of knowing bank account number of all of us, our passwords, and our deepest buried thoughts, everything.”
Mike explains
“If we are all pushing ourselves for the betterment of others then is there any need for hiding or maternal establishments.
Think if your assistant wants to ride a Ferrari, you lend him my ride for one day and make his dream come true.
Think of the possibility of even future humans, they will all have all the knowledge and experience that we have without any self-owned maternal requirements.
We are actually giving them the ultimate freedom and knowledge”
This time Luke seemed a bit annoyed, but still remained calm as possible
“I don’t know about the effects of final product of ‘Neucon’, but one thing I can say is everyone needs the space to think to make up a constructive idea or present himself in an approachable way.
Because if you ask me, then I would say my thoughts are scattered and as you got distracted by Jenny, we all are always getting distracted every day for every moment.
Now as human beings we can pardon one for the slight mistakes that are visible to us, but when we are able to get inside one’s head we will definitely not spear him for even a single chance.
This goes for all of us, as we are all competitive by nature and we all had to pull someone behind to get to where we are right now.
Moreover, if so many people are continuously connecting with each other with the knowledge of everyone’s secrets, do you really think that they will have the same sanity that we have?
Everyone will continuously criticize each other and this will happen in everyone’s heads.
Also if you think of any of the social networking sites, it is filled with knowledge both true and false.
Now for the case of Neural Network a single misleading thought can destroy one person or even a society.
Do you really think we are capable of dealing with such power?
When we can’t even stop hacking of some small irrelevant information given in their social networks, websites or other connecting networks.”
He pauses for a moment and says
“We don’t intend to be gods among people, so go to redevelopment.
Rethink the entire process which can actually help the society and the world.”
The meeting concluded making everyone shocked by the president’s decision.
On the same day, Luke went home early before 5:00pm.
When he entered the house he found her wife sitting on the sofa, crying her heart out.
He really could not understand what could be the reason.
It’s true she felt distracted for couple of days, but he really could not understand the reason for her to be so upset.
Suddenly she snapped a gun from behind her and shot him right through the chest.
First one, then again and again.
Repeatedly yelling
“I know you were going to kill me.”
He could not bear the pain and fell down to the ground.
He still could not understand what really happened?
Just before everything was getting dark in front of his eyes, He clearly heard Mike’s voice in his head
“You don’t mess with the god and see the light of next day.”
