This season has in total 8 chapters. It presents about 1980s nostalgia. It gives a brilliant view of the 80s movies.
So first I would like to talk about the heart touching characters!
There are four friends Mike, Lucas ,Dustin and will.
Mike- Mike is the leader of the team cause we can see the leadership in him. And he is very innocent, smart and interested in science! This character was played by Finn wolfard.
Lucas- Lucas is brave and he never trusts on anybody and has a little ego! This character was played by Caleb McLaughlin.
Dustin- Dustin is a naughty , intelligent and has love for science and one of my favorite characters. This character was played by Gaten matarazzo.
Will- will is the main character in the season but he has not much scripted. This character was played by Noah schnapp.
There is a girl named eleven.
Eleven- Eleven is the main character . She is innocent and she has supernatural powers. And she does not have knowledge about words. She escaped from a laboratory who experimented on her powers. And Dr. Brenner is on the way to find her. Eleven can do things from her mind. She can move things by giving vibrations from her mind. She can find people by a image. This character was played by Millie Bobby Brown.
Dr.Brenner- he is a villan. Who research and experimented on eleven.
The story romes around this four characters.
Other than that there are many supporting characters .
Jim hopper- He is an police inspector.
Joyce- she is the mother of will and Jonathan. She is very lovable to her kids she left his husband and her kids were her main priority. She worked in a shop in nightshift.
Jonathan- He is a very mature character. He knows his home condition and also deals with the problem. And mainly he is busy with his own job.
Nancy- She is the sister of Mike . She is a kind of a confused person and trying to become popular. So she gets in a relationship with the most naughty student of high school named Steve.
Steve- Steve is a bad boy but by the season we can see the change in the character which touches our hearts.
Other than that there is a science teacher who is always ready to help their students.
Mike's mom and dad. And many other supporting characters.
The four friends find a girl named eleven and she has supernatural powers.
The story is in Indiana , in the city of Hawkins,1983.
Chapter 1: the vanishing of will Byers.
So, the story starts where the four friends play D and D game in Mike's house. So after the game was over .Will, Dustin and Lucas headed back home on their cycle. As will was riding suddenly a dark monster like thing appears in front of him near the government laboratory and getting scared he rans to his home and gets missing! Next day her mom and his elder brother Jonathan find for him but they couldn't get what to do. So after that they file a case in the police station. And the case was handled by Jim hopper .
They started the investigation but couldn't find him. On the other hand Mike, Dustin and Lucas decide to find his missing friend Will. They started to find will and suddenly they found a girl in the woods who's hairs were shaved and the friends decide to help her. So they took her to Mike's house and hided her. Nancy gets in relationship with Steve.
Chapter 2: The wiredo on the maple street:
Mike, Dustin and Lucas try to talk to the girl found in the woods and on the other hand Joyce calls Jim hopper. She says that she talked to will through lights. While Nancy's friend Barb gets missing.
Chapter3:Holly ,jolly
Nancy was concerned about Barb so she tries to search her and tries to find out what was Jonathan upto. On the other hand Joyce thinks that will is trying to talk to her.
Chapter 4: The body
The police finds out a dead body from the lake which they think that it's Will's body and Joyce is not accepting that his son his dead.
The boys decide to get eleven a makeover.
On the other hand , Nancy and Jonathan were on the way to find will and Barb in the woods and Nancy form an unexpected alliance.
Chapter 5: the flea and the acrobat
Hopper enters the lab and find out Will's body and he cuts his body and finds cotton in it that meant the body was not real. Further the friends and family of Will's were reached out to the funeral of will. Mike Dustin and Lucas headed to Mr. Clarke their science teacher and ask about traveling to another dimension. On the other hand Jonathan and Nancy confront the force that took Will. Nancy gets in to the other world.
Chapter 6: the monster
Nancy saws a monster and later Jonathan helps her to come back to the real world. Steve was finding for her too. On the other hand Joyce and hopper uncover the truth of lab experiments. On the other hand eleven stays in the woods and enters to a store and get food packet and goes without paying so as soon as the staffs stop her she uses her powers. The friends get to know that it's eleven and then they find her.
Chapter 7: The bath tub
Dr. Brenner was behind eleven and friends so they hide in a van . Lucas comes to know that the bad man's have reached out there. Later Joyce and hopper help them . Nancy and Jonathan show to the police what was caught up on the camera.
Eleven tries to reach will by her power. They all take a big tub of water and add many sacks of salt in it as per the measurements told by Mr.clarke and eleven gets into the water and give vibrations to find will by her power. They all do this in the schools gym . Then Joyce and hopper decide to go to the lab to enter the other dimension. On the other hand Nancy and Jonathan decide to kill the monster so they reach out to Will's house .
Chapter 8: the upside down
Joyce and hopper reach out to the lab where the lab staffs caught them later Dr. Brenner starts questioning them while eleven and friends stay in the gym. While Jonathan and Nancy were in Will's house and Steve also reachs out there. The monster enters the house and three of them kill it. On the other hand Dr Brenner reached to eleven and kids . As soon as Dr. Brenner caught eleven the monster came and killed Dr. Brenner . The kids ran away the monster were all around . Suddenly eleven and friends got trapped in a room by the monster and then eleven killed it by her powers and she herself got disappeared. They friends found that she was gone. On the other hand Joyce and hopper found out Will and he was sticked on a wall and something like a root of trees in his mouth or an creepy animal. Hopper and Joyce tried to make him conscious and he responded and thy returned to the real world.
All of them got the victory! In the last we see will in the hospital and the friends tell him about the whole adventure and about eleven.
In the last scene we see them celebrating Christmas at their homes . And at the end we see will puking that creepy creature from his mouth and immediately the next scene shows the view of upside down.
So, the last scene shows that there would be a next season too. I have explained the story in short. But there are many thrilling scenes which really keep you think that what would happen next?
Like my favorite scene is when Dr Brenner caught eleven and friends from both the side.
From the front his van was coming and eleven just threw the van by her powers.
In this season, the story is about the missing Will and how the four friends and supernatural powered girl i.e eleven find out will. We never know what is going to happen next and it's really unpredictable. The thing I liked the best was the direction and characterization was amazing. It is better to watch it directly!
I also like the character of eleven and how her super powers work and the most amazing part is action! The story goes on with different scenes and it's awesome weather it is the four friends, the upside down and demogorgon , rather joyce, each of the scenes are thrilling and amazing!

This story shows that how a city of Hawkins where there is no crime at all faces such circumstances. There is also a question why people don't care about what happens in Hawkins?
