A moon isn't just a moon if it has a horrific background. You can call it devilish picture which can spell death. However, the villagers learned to make their lives in the jungle-like-village under the moon with a lot of anecdotes.
There were a few huts built along the long and slim river. The river became the main water source for the villagers. The 15 to 20 villagers who lived there always had the fear of dieing in poverty but they also were unable to escape from the village because they may also die terrifically if they do so.
Every morning followed by the full moon night, the villagers could see million of hooves lining across the river. There was also a myth that the hooves were belonged to some filthy and big monster like animals which hunt small animals and they come to the village for water.
On the other hand, the old-timers believed that the village is actually protected by great powered messenger from the god. They also held a mind set that it's their responsibility to feed the powerful and robust almighty. So, the villagers didn't ever planned to oppose and work against the murderer who killed many animals, pets and also few people. Only the fear accompanied the villagers and the fear became the hunters' strength.
Days and weeks passed. It was a full moon day. The fear of dieing and struggling for life filled the entire village. The trees in the villages played a weird and horrific beats to scare the villagers even more. They were weaving their leafy arms as if it was a sign to direct every villagers to escape from the village. The villagers always wanted to diminish the current life they're living but they weren't able to take and jump to a decision to leave the village because of a past incident they had witnessed.
Once a family of four- Ronnie, his wife and his two children came to a conclusion to leave the village. The planned was made in a hurry as Ronnie's younger brother was killed by the powerful creature. The villagers advised Ronnie to forget the hapless fate of his brother but he denied to believe that the creature is a God. He insisted that the creature could also swallow the whole village and bring everyone to the death. Sooner, Ronnie and his family started their way out of the village. His actions persuaded the villagers to raise up the level of self confidence they have to resist the wild creature.
However, the next day, an unpleasant and nasty news arrived the village. Carcasses of Ronnie and his family were found at the middle of jungle near to the village. The villagers were found appalled and left wondered why the creature had also came to the village when there was no full moon the previous day. However, this incident left a big effect and sowed a huge dismayal in villagers' mind.
So, it was another Full Moon Day. As everyone kept themselves in a haven place, they felt secured a little bit. However, the question that who's going to be the next victim of the creature arose in everyone's mind. As the illumination of moon engulfed the whole village, the serenity of the night was developed. The village went silent.
The next day, the dawn brought cool air and dense fog. Flocks of birds and whistling ducks, shattered the morning silence with their calls. The villagers gathered up under a giant tree. Their discussion was about the last night event. Seven cows were said to be missing and there were many hooves around the cow barn. The villagers took this matter lightly. They thought they were lucky to be alive.
