It was a wonderful morning. Sharma was awakened by a sudden call. She slowly opened her eyes and got her phone. She was surprised to receive call from an unknown number. The sleep deprived, Anitha attended the call after a long hesitation.
"Hello.."
"Raj, I am... Please come to my home.. My parents are.. Hello? Hello?"
" Excuse me... I'm not Raj but I'm Anitha.. Wrong number I guess..."
" I'm s-sorry... but..."
"Wait.. Hey, how can I help you? I think you're in a big problem. Are you?"
"Well. I think I should end the phone call right now. By the way, thanks."
The unknown girl sowed a huge suspicion in Sharma's mind. She decided to help the girl with all cost and quicky, she took her phone and called the girl.
"Hello.. "
"Yes.. I already told you that it was a mistake.. Why can't you cut the call?"
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry"
Sharma was surprised by the sudden anger from that unknown girl. She regretted for her action.
"Why should I bother her problems" Sharma mumbled.
She got off the bed and made her way to washroom. After few minutes, Sharma looked fresh and neat. The early morning incidents kept accompanying her. She started to plot what might have happened to the girl.
Suddenly her phone rang and it distracted her mind. She quickly got the phone and surprised when she realized that it was the same unknown girl who called Sharma that morning.
"Hello.. I'm sorry for what happened this morning. Actually, I'm in a problem. I was mentally disturbed so..."
"No. You don't need to be sorry. I can slightly understand your current situation. Tell me how can I help you"
"Thanks... I'll give you a number. Can you try to call him? Please.."
"Yes of course. For sure, I'll do it. Actually, how you got my number?"
"From last week, I'm unable to get my boy friend on phone. I don't know what happened to him. I asked my friend to call him but the calls were also not attended. I tried his old number and got you on the phone"
Sharma smiled for seconds.
" I'll send his number via WhatsApp... Thanks for helping me"
"Okay okay.."
Sharma had bafflement thinking how many times she's going to say THANK YOU. She turned on her mobile data and waited for messages.
As soon as Sharma received a pop-up-notification, she rushed to WhatsApp to check the messages. She read the message.
"Hello. This is Anu. This is his number, 93456 78821. Thanks for helping me."
"Well... Another thanks by Anu" Sharma mumbled and smiled.
Sharma dialled the number and was shocked. She just realized that it's her husband's phone number. A huge sudden shock influenced her but anyway, she made the call.
"Hello"
"Yeah.. Sharma. I'm here working. Call me later, dear"
Sharma hanged up the call. All at once a sudden shock passed through her whole being, her eyes swam and she seemed wrapped in a dazzling white mist.
When her shock wore off, she messaged Anu.
"I called him but he didn't attend the call. Maybe, you should visit him at his house.
This is his address, ----------------------"
And she received a reply message from Anu.
"Thanks again" Anu replied.
Sharma smiled arrogantly.
" I deserve more Thanks.." she told herself and snorted.
Sharma decided to leave the house. She stuffed her few clothes in her bag and packed some of her belongings. She stepped out of the home.
It was 5.28 pm. Raj arrived his home. He was surprised by the visit of Anu. He thought how he's going to handle and hold the situation. He felt relieved when he realized that his house is locked. He quickly took out the key from his pocket and drew a fake smile on his face.
"Anu, you're here? Come on. This is my house."
"Why you didn't attend my calls?" she asked.
"Calm down.. Just come on first.."
He took her to the living room.
He found a letter on table. Surprisingly, he opened it and started reading it.
"Hello, traitor. I thought you love me and I told myself that I should always stay with you even though you have flaws because everything is fair in love.. And I just realized that you have also prepared a war for me to win but I'm never going to play this game. Let her win. Let her be your life partner, well wisher, and all. Let me fail in the quest. She is not a evildoer, criminal or felon..... because everything is fair in love and war."
Hello everyone. I can't believe you're here.. 😝 I'm sorry if I disappointed you or wasted your time. I'm sorry 😔 I'm just a beginner. So, please accept my mistakes and weakness.
