Disclaimer: This is the work of fiction as far as all the characters, their names and the names of all the events are concerned and all these are imaginary and hence any resemblance to the persons (and their lives) dead or alive, and any places are coincidental. Even if a few events might look realistic/’real’, these are fictionalised and the associated names are changed in order to maintain their privacy, honour, and security. No intention whatsoever is meant to hurt any feelings of whosoever, irrespective of their personal/cultural beliefs, social or political inclinations, religion-orientations/practicing/philosophy, life styles, and work/business. The ‘I’, ‘my’, ‘me’, and ‘mine’ (if any used) do not necessarily mean the author of this book, and these and other such pronouns: her, hers, his, he, she, him, you, your, yours, ours, theirs…; are used for effective personification and dramatization, and the readers should not take these on their ‘own persons’.

Please Note: The readers should take these stories/verses/thoughts with/in good spirit. The presented ideas and material are based, where feasible, on readings and (thought-) analyses of scientific/other open literature (which seemed most profound and trustworthy), with as much care as possibly taken. The readers are requested to verify these notions on their own, and use their own discretion. However, these stories/verses/thoughts/ideas (mostly original) are expressed here with an intention of increasing awareness of the readers with a hope that in an overall sense, their (and ours) consciousness would be heightened (in all and multiple directions), so that we all can live our lives on this planet with true happiness, ever-lasting peace and real joy (irrespective of our orientations). The author and the publisher will not be responsible for any negative effects/situations arising as a result of reading these stories/verses and/or following the suggestions if any. No discussions/dispute of any kind will be entertained at any time and in any way, manner, and/or forum. JIRARA.

Modes of Life

***

Two Decades

It was routine: logistics, discussions, and arguments, some needy tours and travels.

Fulfilling the duties, often mechanically, and superficially.

There was everything, but the times had stolen away their joy.

That they were harmless, innocent and unselfish, only a few knew and respected.

They didn't demand any extravaganza life, just wanted to live simple life, free from tensions and worries.

Happiness was playing hide and seek, joy was nearly lost in the folds of treacherous time.

If you are in rhythm with time, it heals your wounds, if unsynchronised, it punishes you.

Partially the 'offended' joy returned, brought by their two granddaughters.

But, still the lives wanted more of it, and no hide and seek.

With the help of forceful routines, commitments to the purpose of life, the years rolled by in the temporary lanes of history of time and space.

They all, as a well-knit family maintained energy, and faced many odds of successes or otherwise.

And in later years, she magically appeared on backstage of their tired, and bore drama of life.

It started making things better and clearer, as if they woke up in a bright light, that was dim for past several years.

Her enterprising nature, simplicity and purity of thought, no show-off, coolness, calmness, all started blending in their lives.

The things started on a magical path from where, the fragrance of hope was emanating.

I hope they all live together for ever, and find real purpose, and meaning of life and fulfil their dreams.

She was and is Amina. Ameen.

A Wave of Time

Not a long time ago it hit me with its crescent.

And dragged me into its trough.

More and more it hit me.

Deeper it pulled me into its troughs.

Oscillating me with complex frequencies.

The periodicities of which became ever uncertain.

It felt as if I was losing my posture, power.

It felt as if it was up to destroy my pride, my honour.

My judgment was being slapped right on its face.

And I started losing my vision.

With such impairments I continued to struggle.

To come to my own crescent.

But more I tried

More the dinosaur tail hit me with a thud.

And pushed deeper into my troughs.

There I saw my own limitations.

In the labyrinth of the ocean of my existence.

Bewildered I remained there for a thousands.

And thousands crests and troughs of the time.

That when somewhat relented.

Some altruistic ‘souls’ rescued me

And brought me to the shore.

And from there on one fine morning

I started gathering my ‘wings’.

Walking in search of new horizons…
