The series is all about the chasing that one culprit who is to be held responsible for the attack on the parliament, everyone believes that 5 culprits are responsible for the executing the attack, whereas Himmat Singh- the character played by Kay Kay Menon believes that there are 6 culprits. Here we are talking about culprits responsible for literally threatening all of us, Parliament terror attack of December 13, 2001. Its must to mention that Kay Kay Menon is a RAW agent, on whom an inquiry is being conducted for unexplained expenses, wherein he narrates about his theory of the 6th culprit & reveals about his agents whom he considers as his assets!
The story revolves around chasing for that 6th culprit which no else believes to exist. The entire story narrates about how Himmat Singh & his agents are making it possible to find that 6th culprit, moreover how they stop bomb blast, fail the plans of terrorist groups.
Definitely, the plot is based on the true story, then the script is developed in the context by Writer & Director. Each and every character showed on screenplays a significant role.
Every coin has two sides, there are many ‘wow’ factors, then there are some loopholes as well.
At a particular point of time, one will feel the story is dragged unnecessarily, execution is flawless but the story could have been more to the point & direct.
Casting is surely done perfectly but the character of Divya Dutta & Vinay Pathak could have been given more screen space! Action scenes could have been directed way better. The performance of Karan Tacker pleases the audience as a surprise package.
Direction, Storytelling, Casting are surely winning the hearts of the audience!
In nutshell, despite of some drawbacks, #Specialops will not fail to entertain viewers & during this phase of lockdown surely it will serve as power pack doze of action-thriller & suspense.
