Disclaimer: This is the work of fiction as far as all the characters, their names and the names of all the events are concerned and all these are imaginary and hence any resemblance to the persons (and their lives) dead or alive, and any places are coincidental. Even if a few events might look real, these are fictionalised and the associated names are changed in order to maintain their privacy and honour. No intention whatsoever is meant to hurt any feelings of whosoever, irrespective of their personal/cultural beliefs, social or political inclinations, religion-orientations/practicing, life styles, and work/business. The ‘I’, ‘my’, ‘me’, and ‘mine’ (if any used) do not necessarily mean the author of this book, and these and other such pronouns: her, hers, his, he, she, him, you, your, yours, ours, theirs…; are used for effective personification and dramatization.

Please Note: The readers should take these stories/verses/thoughts with/in good spirit. The presented ideas and material are based, where feasible, on readings and (thought-) analyses of scientific/other open literature (which seemed most profound and trustworthy), with as much care as possibly taken. The readers are requested to verify these notions on their own. However, these verses/thoughts (mostly original) are expressed here with an intension of increasing awareness of the readers with a hope that in an overall sense, their (and ours) consciousness would be heightened (in all and multiple directions), so that we all can live our lives on this planet with true happiness, ever-lasting peace and real joy. Unbroken Glass

In a dream I had a frame in my hand, and it had a transparent glass in it,

The glass was crystal clear, and may be it was fixed in the frame at the top,

Yet, the glass only was tilted to me at an angle, it was not bent at all,

The frame was held straight down, and yet the glass was pointing to me.

**

I was wondering, if my mind/thoughts could be thus separated from my body.

**

I was constantly touching the glass, like I would do to a touch screen,

And yet nothing was happening, my attempts had no reactions from it,

Then a school-girl in the uniform told me, uncle it has no wifi,

She told me she would attach a device, so I can get connected to the net.

**

I was wondering ever, I could be free from the clutches of the internet.

**

She got up from her seat, but I did not see any seat underneath her,

Then, I realize there was no such seat, even under my bottoms,

I looked to my left, and a dignified lady was seating but without a seat,

She seemed to be wife of a big CEO, of some famous Indian company.

**

I am not sure ever, if I could be in a steady position without any fixation.

**

Seems we all were floating, and yet we were not in any flight,

Our platform was also quite at a height, above the land of our origin,

The lady told me to get net fixed, and I agreed with the school-girl,

And she fixed a binocular type gadget, on to the top of my glass-frame.

**

I am yet to see a day, I could fly without ‘wings’ attached to me.

**

And then I started tapping the glass, and the screen came alive,

The weather news started coming, but the glass still was transparent,

Both the ladies were happy, that their suggestions worked,

And still we all were there, in the midst of the actual weather-drenched.

***

During all these sessions, the glass remained miraculously unbroken,

In a moment’s time nobody was there, and I was left alone,

Where that student disappeared, without claiming back her wifi stick,

Where the CEO-lady vanished without thanking us, I could not fathom.

I ended up buying a new laptop, with wifi feature/device included,

Cleaning my bathroom mirror, and my own bi-focal spectacles,

Started putting together, our treasured photographs for the laminations,

Lest the photos will gather dust further, and be seen in some dump-yards.

I am still not sure, how the glass was in the frame and still detached,

I am yet to think of the days, I would be detached from the bondages,

I am not sure when I will imbibe, the features of the transparent glass,

Yet to see if I can bend my ego, in the midst of the disagreeing odds.

The unbroken/unbent glass, the transparency of the glass,

The floating people very high, sans earthen bondages/vagaries,

The purity of thoughts, roaming ‘souls’ without ego,

All remain distance day-dreams, in this pluralistically disturbed world.
