Forget the past..but not always...

Being passionate about travels and journeys, I started writing about such stories long back. This comes from 2014.

Kintan is a hardworking technocrat businessman. He moves around the world to earn money and fame both. This is the first episode of such a story. Long awaited story of mine is published here.

India

January 2018

Having completed the Brazil tour, Kintan had understood that India should be his next time pass. Reaching Toronto, Kintan had also been acknowledged that Olive leaf was not that he wanted to devour and savor. A single call from Mumbai awakened his conscience and this timely help surfaced the happiness of Kintan. The long tiresome journey from Toronto to Mumbai had developed unwanted expected jetlag. The middle seat had made him more uncomfortable than the shivering sensation of the ventilators inside of the newest flight carrier Dreamliner. The hot hostess tried her best to entertain the third richest Indian of the country but, Kintan was a staunch believer of heaven and hell. Indian values blended with the western culture had transformed Kintan into a vulnerable humanoid. He was wanted by many fanatics.

Meera, the beautiful but sober housemaid had already kept the seven-bedroom bungalow clean, served with flavors of jasmine and lily to entertain the new handsome boss. Born beauty, Meera, was the only child of the watchman who had been serving the father of Kintan, Mukulrai for a long period of 25 years. Mukulrai had lost his life in a mysterious accident. The long awaiting period of three years, since the death of Mukulrai, was to be quenched with the arrival of the youngest son, Kintan.

Located in the posh area of Santacruz, Jannat, the villa was well-known among the frequent visitors of Turkey. The owner was a merchant from Neshveir, Khurshid. He never ventured to know the tenant this fabulous villa. The lush green grass had carpeted every inch of the open ground embedded with a bunch of Lily and Jasmine plants. Ariel view reminded of Adam’s Garden. Meera was just entering the main door when the new gardener yelled for help. A snake bite had put the guest’s life in grave danger.

The flight had reached the international airport on the dot. Kintan had reached the home town, Mumbai. The drizzle of August had not stopped its habit. The wet roads and the rooftops made Kintan nostalgic about the rain of India but a lump of headache had occupied the busy mind of him. The three days assignments were the priorities before he could enjoy the enchanting days at Matheran. The first meeting was fixed with Mr. Nambod, at his chamber of the 21 storied KM Corporate House at Marine lines. KM, the nickname was much popular in Turkey. The roots of relations were deep till Neshveir. The deal of 21 Million USD was not the cup of tea for Kintan, however, he had made up his mind to follow the footsteps of his father. The meeting was fixed at 11 am sharp, however, Kintan was entering the gates of Lily Villa at 10.30. The black SUV swooped with a screeching sensation of the beautiful brakes.

The sensual smiles created the deep dimples of the red cheeks of Meera. A beauty in herself, Meera did not need to apply any vanity on her supple skin. The neighbors envy and proud of none, she was alone and living a solitary life. The life of youth was being wasted without a partner.

Meera had ignored the uncertain attack of the garden viper on Khurshid unintentionally. Khurshid had been the pay-master to the father of Meera. Being the family gardener of the villa, Jannat, Ganesh took intense care of Khusheed lest he should get the unwanted death.

Meera welcomed Kintan with great affection in order to get the curious attention; however, Kintan was much more deflected towards the ringing mobile handset. A glance at the maid and the handheld mobile found its place on the ground.
