Now a day's life has become very hectic. We live in a fast-paced life. Everyone is running behind something to become successful. There is no relaxation for body and mind. When stress increases in life, it creates many health and mental problems. So controlling stress is very essential. What efforts do you take to reduce the stress? May be, you must not have thought about this. Take a break from work and think for a while... you need peace of mind and healthy mind to be more productive. For that what measures can be done? Here are few things, which will help you to reduce the stress. Obviously, stress can't be reduced completely buy it can be reduced if some things in the routine are changed.

* Health problems related to stress-

If stress is increased in life and no measures are taken to reduce it, it may lead to harmful conditions like-

1. Obesity,

2. Heart disease,

3. Alzheimer's disease,

4. Diabetes,

5. Depression,

6. Gastrointestinal problems,

7. Asthma,

8. Headaches,

9. Panic attacks

If you want to live a healthy life, try few things which will help you to reduce the day to day life's stress.

* Easy relaxing techniques which will reduce stress-

1. Deep breathing-

When you are stressed, what is the 1st thing which can you do to reduce the stress? We have been breathing from the time of the birth till the death. Deep breathing is the simplest and easiest way to reduce stress immediately. Deep breathing not only relaxes you but it helps you to increase your energy level. So whenever you will be stressed try deep breathing! For that you need to sit straight! Keep your back straight and start taking deep breaths. Breathe in slowly taking deep breaths and exhale slowly. With that, try holding your breath while inhaling and exhaling for about five seconds. That holding of breath will make you more and more calm.

2. Music-

Music is another way to reduce stress. Everybody loves listening to music. When you are stressed, if you listen soothing music, your stress will be removed without much efforts. You must have noticed after listening to some music you become calm. Study that and make a playlist of such music. Whenever you will think, you are in stress, close your eyes and listen to soothing music for 20 minutes. That will help you to reduce the stress and make you feel fresh.

3. Power Nap-

Taking in a nap in between your work is the best idea to prevent stress. Have you ever thought, why a nap is called a power nap? It is because a small nap reduces negative thoughts and energises you and that in turn will reduce you stress keeping you fresh for the remaining day.

4. Yoga-

Everybody must be aware of yoga. Yoga is a combination of exercise and meditation. Both exercise and meditation helps you to remove negativity in you and strengthens mind as well as the body! It also relieves tension on muscles which is helpful in reducing the stress. There are many techniques of yoga which are easily available in many books.

5. Say no to negative thoughts-

Many a times you must have noticed, negative thoughts increas you to stress. So if you want to get rid of stress, you should always pay attention on your thoughts. Try thinking and talking good about everybody. If you think positively, the outcome would also be positive and you can keep stress away from you.

6. Spending time in nature-

Nature is the God's best creation. If you spend your time in nature, that definitely will help you to reduce the stress. It happens because, when you are in nature, you get positive vibes and that will make you feel happy and joyous. And your stress will be reduced.
