This is a story of conversation happened between a girl & boy.
(Situation: Boy came to see a girl for marriage. They are talking with each other.)
(5-10 seconds of silence with seeing down. After that, both are looking at each other & giving smile to each other.)
(The boy started talking with a girl by asking the first question to her)
Udit: What's your name?
Priyanka: My name is Priyanka. and your's?
Udit: My name is Udit.
(Silence of 5 seconds)
Priyanka: Your hobbies?
Udit: Reading, Swimming etc., and what about yours?
Priyanka: Well, there is no special hobby, but sometimes I do readings in free time.
Udit: Sounds good.
(Silence of 5 seconds)
Priyanka: So what do you do usually? Job or Business?
Udit: I am chef. What about you?
Priyanka: I am the manager in bank.
Udit: That's good.
(Silence of 5 seconds)
Priyanka: It seems you like everything about me, somewhat strange!
Udit: No, it’s not like that. But I was thinking that every girl is being forwarded in this today’s era. Like, you are doing job in bank while I am cooking in restaurant.
Priyanka: It’s not like that what you are thinking. We should get chance to showcase what we want to do in our life.
Udit: That’s also true.
Priyanka: What do you choose this profession? You haven’t mention about cooking in your hobbies.
Udit: It’s not my hobby. I am doing it because it's my passion.
Priyanka: Ohh.. I see.
(Silence of 5 seconds)
Priyanka: Who else in your family?
Udit: Me, My Dad and my Mom.
Udit: And, in your family?
Priyanka: Same. Me, My Dad and my Mom.
Udit: Don’t you have any brother?
Priyanka: No.
Udit: Why? Don’t your parents think that you should have one brother?
Priyanka: No, why? Because I am like their son.
Udit: Actually, I am saying in that meaning. But I think it personally that it may help your father in business or he can help somewhat in financially. That's what I am thinking so I asked you. Sorry, please don't mind.
Priyanka: No, it's ok. No need to say sorry. But why you think that only boy can help his father? Can’t we girl help them? We can do it also. It’s not like that we can’t do anything.
(Boy's expression like he has no words)
Udit: So, what about your future plans?
Priyanka: future plans, means?
Udit: I mean about job & everything after marriage.
Priyanka: I haven’t think about it still. What would you prefer?
Udit: I would prefer that my wife must be able to handle my home & family.
Priyanka: What about job? Won't you allow her?
Udit: No.
Priyanka: Why?
Udit: If she will do a job than who will handle my home?
Priyanka: Why you are thinking like this?
Udit: Because all knows that girl has to handle home after marriage. If she would go for a job than who will take care of home & family?
Priyanka: Who told you that if a girl will go for job then she won't able to handle all this stuff?
Udit: No, I am not opposing you. But this is what I personally think.
Priyanka: You should change your thinking.
(Again boy has no words to say)
Udit: What you're looking into your partner?
Priyanka: He must be caring, supportive, should respect women whether she is me or else.
Udit: Means?
Priyanka: Didn’t you get my point?
Udit: It’s not like I didn’t get you. But can you please explain me in detail?
Priyanka: Yeah sure, why not.
Priyanka: Listen, I am doing my job. So, obviously I wish that I could continue my job after marriage. I don’t want to leave a life where I will be work as house wife only. I am not against it but I want to be continued with my current profession.
Udit: Why you need to do a job after marriage? You can spend your day well at home with full rest. I am earning enough, so we can spend our life.
Priyanka: You are thinking like you will do job and I will handle home. But have you ever think about us that what we will do after completion of house daily work? Have you ever think like if we both will do a job than It will be helpful to you financially. So, we can live our life lavishly. We can save some money also for our future. Why you boys always think same, I have seen many boys who have same mentality like girls can handle house work only.
(Again boy has no words to say. Silence of 5 seconds)
Priyanka: Listen, please don’t mind what I have told you. But I told you the same what I am thinking. I wish my life partner should have same thinking what I have. I want a boy who is being always with me in anytime at anywhere.
Priyanka: We girls don’t want that you always show your love towards us, don’t try to make us happy, We aren’t saying that you always take as on trip in every weekend or you should take us every week for dinner. We wish that however you are, you are perfect. But always be with us in every step of our life.
Udit: Can you please stand up?
Priyanka: Why?
Udit: Don’t ask that, can you please do it just for once?
(Girl stand up and boy is on his knee)
(Boy said this line in a way that he is proposing her for marriage)
Udit: I don’t know whether I will keep you always happy or not. I don’t know whether I will go for a weekend with you or not. I don’t know whether I will go on a dinner with you or not in a month or a year. I just wanted to see you always happy, I want to see a smile on your face everyday which I won’t be able to buy from anyone.
I just want to say that,
You are shining like sun,
You are scratch like moon,
You are power of women,
We will show you world that what a women can do.
