મોહે પનઘટ પે નંદલાલ છેડ ગયો રે... જામનગરના નાગર ચકલામાં સમી સાંજે પસાર થનાર વ્યક્તિના કાનમાં આ અને આવા બીજા કેટલાય કૃષ્ણના સ્તુતિ ગીતો તેમજ ગુજરાતી સુગમ સંગીતના અને ક્યારેક ‘મંગલ ગાન કરેગા દેશ હમારા....’ શબ્દો કાને પડતા રહેતા અને મનને એક ઘડી જાણે શાંત કરી ડોલાવી જતા હતા. અજાણી વ્યક્તિ નીકળે તો એ પણ એક પળ તો થંભી જ જાય કે કાનમાં આ મીઠાશ ક્યાંથી રેલાણી? અને નાગર ચકલાના એ ખાંચામાં ઊંચે નજર કરતાં જ ‘મંગલમ્’ નામના મકાનની અગાશી પરથી એ સુરોનું સરનામું મળી જાય.
