મીની ચાલતા ચાલતા જંગલ સુધી પહોચી ગઈ હતી. જયારે એનું મન ઉદાસ થાય કે દસ વર્ષની મીની દૂર ચાલી જતી. ફ્રોકના ખિસ્સામાં બોર અને આમલી તો હોય જ. સ્કુલે જતી વખતે માંએ આપેલી ભાખરીનો ડબ્બો પણ હતો મીની પાસે. જંગલમાં બહુ અંદર સુધી જવું મીનીને સુરક્ષિત ના લાગ્યું એટલે જંગલની શરૂઆત થાય પછી સો ડગલા ગણીને મીની એક મોટા ઝાડ નીચે બેસી ગઈ. હાથમાં રહેલી લાકડી બાજુ પર મૂકી એ વિશાળ ઝાડને જોવા લાગી. એને યાદ આવ્યું સ્કુલની ચોપડીમાં આવા જ મોટા વડ નામના ઝાડની વાર્તા હતી.
