“મમ્મી...જલ્દી કર ટોની રાહ જોઈને પાદરે બેઠી હશે...” પગના મોજા ચડાવતા ટીનાએ કહ્યું. રસોડામાંથી મમ્મી ઝડપભેર નાસ્તાના ડબ્બા સાથે દોડતી બહાર આવી.ટીનાના ખભે ચડાવેલા દફતરમાં નાસ્તાનો ડબ્બો મુક્યો અને ટીનાના માથે હાથ ફેરવીને માથાના વાળ સરખા કર્યા. “બે રોટલી ટોની માટે પણ મૂકી છે ..ભૂલ્યા વગર એને ખવડાવીને જ ગામના પાદરથી આગળ વધજે.” ટીનાના પગમાં મોજડી પહેરાવતા મમ્મીએ કહ્યું. “ટીના ,આપણા ગામમાં પણ બાજુના ગામ જેવી સારી સ્કૂલ હોત તો કેવું સારું હતું..રોજ ચાલીને તારે બાજુના ગામમાં જવું ન પડત...”
