અવસરની રાહમોરબી ગામમાં રહેતો રવિ દરરોજની જેમ સવારની સફર કરી અને ગામના આંગણામાં જઈને બેઠો. તે ત્યાં આવીને ચારે તરફ જોઈ રહ્યો હતો. આજનો દિવસ કંઈક અલગ લાગતો હતો.હમણાં જ વરસાદ થયો હોવાથી વાતાવરણમાં શીતળતા હતી. જમણી બાજુના ખેતરમાં કેટલાક કિસાન ખેતર ભણાવી રહ્યા હતા. રવિએ પોતાની નજર સામેની વાડીએ જમાવેલી મકાઈની વાડીને જોયું. તે મકાઈની કણીએ લીલા રંગના દોડેલા હતા. આ મકાઈના ખેતરમાં આવવાથી તેને થોડું શાંત અને આનંદી લાગતું.આમ જ બેસતાં બેસતાં, તેની નજર આકાશમાં ઊડતાં એક પક્ષી પર પડી. તે પક્ષી વિહંગમ રીતે ઊડી રહ્યું હતું. આ જોઈને રવિએ વિચાર્યું, 'આપણા જીવનમાં પણ ક્યારેક આવું સમયે ઉડી
