करंजी बरेच दिवस वाजत असलेले जोशांचे वेगळेचार एकदाचे झाले अन् अण्णांनी त्यांचा मोठा मुलगा 'भाऊ' याला वेगळा टाकला. हे सगळे नाटक अण्णां जोशांची ची बायको बायजाई, धाकटा मुलगा दिनू नि त्याची बायको भागी या तिघांचे ! दिनूचे लग्न लागले आणि महिनाभरातच 'घरात कली शिरला' असे भाऊंची बायको जानकी उभारत म्हणाली. मुळात दिनूसाठी मुलगी बघायचा कार्यक्रम झाला तेव्हाच चकणी,दात पुढे असलेली, देवीच्या व्रणांनी चेहरा भरलेली भटांची 'येसु' भाऊंनी नापसंतच केली. मुलगी बघून आल्यावर रात्री ओसरीवर बोलणी झाली. त्या वेळी भाऊ स्पष्टच म्हणाले, “आमचा दिनू कुठे नि हे घुबड कुठे ? सरळ नापसंत म्हणून कळवा.” पण शिदूनाना भट हे बायजाईच्या नात्यातले! मोठी
