પહેલીવાર મેં એને જોઈ ને બસ ત્યાંરથી ખોવાઈ ગયો હતો એનામાં. એના હાસ્યમાં, એના ગાલમાં પડતાં ખંજનમાં, થાય બસ જોયા જ કરું, કેટલી માસૂમ લાગતી હતી. એ પીળા રંગના ચણિયાચોળીમાં. છૂટા લહેરાતા વાળ, રંગબેરંગી કંકણોનો શણગાર, આંખોમાં કાજળ, હોઠો પર લાલ રંગની લિપસ્ટીક, અને એનાં હોઠ પરનો કાળો તલ ઉફફફ! બસ આટલું કાફી હતું મને એનો દિવાનો બનાવા માટે. એક મિત્રના લગ્નપ્રસંગમાં મેં એને જોઈ હતી. બસ ત્યારથી જ એની પર મોહી પડ્યો હતો.કંઈક કહેવું તું એને પણ શું કહું એ તો મારી સામે જોતી પણ ન હતી. બસ મારાથી દૂર એની સહેલીઓ જોડે મસ્તીમાં મસ્ત હતી અને હું પાગલ
