મધુવન જંગલમાં એક બહુ મોટો વડલો, ત્યાં ઘણા બધા પક્ષીઓ રહે. આમ તો બધા પક્ષીઓ હળીમળીને રહે. બધા તહેવારોમાં સાથે મોજ માણે, સાથે ચણ ચણવા જાય, સાથે ભોજન બનાવે. પરંતુ કલ્લુ કાગડો આવા બધા કાર્યમાં સાથે ના રહે અને બીજા પક્ષીઓને પણ કલ્લુ સાથે રહેવાનું પસંદ ન હતું કેમ કે તેને પોતાના સ્વાર્થ માટે કામ હોય ત્યારેજ બીજા સાથે બોલે. કલ્લુના આ સ્વભાવના કારણે કોઈ તેને આમંત્રણ પણ ના આપે. આ રીતે સમય પસાર થતો જાય છે.એક દિવસ ગોલું કબૂતર રહેવા આવે છે. તે બધાને પ્રેમથી બોલાવે છે. કલ્લુ કાગડો, ગોલું કબૂતર, લિલ્લુ પોપટ, મિઠ્ઠું મોર બધા જંગલની એક પાઠશાળામાં
