મોટી બા (મોટી મમ્મી)(એક નૈતિક કથા)કામિની સખત તાવમાં તપી રહી હતી અને અગાશીમાં બેસીને ચૂપચાપ નજરે કુણાલને જોઈ રહી હતી, જે બાજુના છજામાં ચઢીને પતંગ ઉડાડી રહ્યો હતો. કામિની કુણાલને કહેવા ઈચ્છતી હતી કે, 'બેટા, સંભાળીને ઉડાડજે, ક્યાંક પતંગના ચક્કરમાં પડી ના જવાય અને તકલીફ ના આવી જાય.' પરંતુ કુણાલની મમ્મી કિરાતીના ડરને કારણે કંઈ જ કહી ના શકી. કિરાતી તો કામિનીને હંમેશાં પોતાની ઓલાદથી દૂર રાખતી હતી કારણ કેકામિની વાંઝિયણ હતી. કિરાતી એ કામિની જ નાની બહેન અને શોક્ય પણ હતી.કામિની એ પોતે જ વસ્તારના મોહમાં તેના પતિ કૌશલને બળજબરી કરીને પોતાની જ નાની બહેન કિરાતિ સાથે લગ્ન કરી
