*શ્રી અષાઢી શ્રાવક* *આજે વાત કરવી છે લગભગ સાધિક ૧૮ કોડાકોડી સાગરોપમ પહેલાંની ! ગઈ ઉત્સર્પિણીના કાળની ! ધર્મ પ્રત્યે અડગ શ્રદ્ધા ધરાવનાર મહા શ્રાવક આષાઢી ! તે મહાપુણ્યશાળી, ભદ્રક પરિણામી આષાઢી શ્રાવકને મનમાં આગળ વર્ણન કર્યું તેવા સંસારસ્વરૂપના પ્રશ્નો સતત હૈયું કોતરી નાખતા હતા. વૈભવ - વિલાસ તેના ઘરમાં ઊભરાતા હતા, પણ તેને ચેન ન હતું. તે સંસારનું સાચું સ્વરૂપ સમજી ગયો હતો અને સતત એક જ વિચારમાં તે રત રહેતો હતો કે આ ભવોભવના ફેરામાંથી હું મુક્ત ક્યારે થઈશ ? હું આવા દુઃખમય સંસારમાંથી ક્યારે છૂટીશ ? વિનયવિજયજી મ.સા. શ્રીપાળ રાજાના રાસમાં કહે છે ને કે પુણ્યવંતને ઇચ્છામાત્રનો
