બહાર ધોધમાર વરસાદ પડતો હતો, વાતાવરણ ઘણુ ઠંડક વાળુ હતુ..જરા પણ ઈચ્છા થતી ન હતી તેમ છતાં હું ઉભો થયો…બારી ખોલ્લી થોડીવાર ત્યાં જ ઉભો રહ્યો અને વાતાવરણના ભેજને અનુભવતો રહ્યો. થોડીવાર પછી ફોનમાં તારીખ જોઈ તારીખ હતી. ૧૩/૭ આજે બર્થ ડે હતો અમિષાનો.એક ક્ષણ માટે થયુ કે વિશ તો કરી શકુને યાર.. પણ પછી એના શબ્દો યાદ આવી ગયા. વિચાર અને બારી બંને બંધ કરી..કેમ કે બંન્નેનું અકારણ ભીંજાવું મને પરવડે એમ ન હતું. તૈયાર થઈને ઓફિસ જવા નીકળી પડયો…ઓફિસ પાસેના બસ સ્ટોપ પર ઉતરીને ઓફિસ તરફ જતો જ હતો ત્યાં કોલેજનો માધવ મળી ગયો.. અમે લગભગ આજે
